Thought we would give this litter a try since it is considerably cheaper than the leading brand name... it was awful!! It turns to clay! It doesn't clump so that it can be sifted. The urine is not well absorbed; instead it travels across the top surface of the litter making a gooey mess. Even the cats refused to use the litter box!! Will definitely switch back to Fresh Step!!

I've been buying this cat litter for years and it was okay. The last bucket I bought said, "new improved 4-in one formula." Usually when a product says it's "new and improved" I can barely notice a difference (or the difference is not for the better). But now this clumps better, stays drier and cleaner. I have a kitty going on 20 years old and she has kidney issues so she pees A LOT. It used to be the litter would get saturated (and yukky) very quickly and I'd have to dump and start over. This new formula is lasting noticeably longer before I have to change everything out. It's still very heavy, but I've also tried the name-brand, lightweight-clumping cat litters they sell at Sams. They are a lot more expensive, they smell perfume-y (in a bad way esp. when combined with cat) and most importantly: my old kitty prefers the Sam's brand.

Don't waste your money or the time it takes to carry this product to the checkout aisle! It doesn't do any of the 4 things it says it does...odor control is non-existent, it clumps VERY POORLY, and it is very dusty! If you are looking for a cat litter that will leave a thin coating of dust on everything in your house, clumps worse than regular clay litter, and leaves a foul odor in your home, this is the product for you. You would be better off just digging up your garden and filling your litter box with dirt...it would be less dusty!! I would have given this product a half star or less, but it wasn't an option. :(.

Cat litter does not clump well and makes a mess in litter box. It literally breaks all up into small pieces as you try and scoop it out. Also there is no scent to litter to mask the smell. Worst quality litter that I?ve ever used. The only good thing that came out of purchase was the nice container that the litter came in.

I never ever complain publicly however the new formula is terrible! Doesn't clump well and the dust is horrible. I have to cover my face to clean the boxes. We've always loved this litter for the price and quality but it's a thumbs down since the new change. Hopefully they revert back! As for now we switched brands!

We've been buying Members Mark cat litter for the past year because it worked great, but they recently changed the formula and now its awful. It used to be dust free, wouldn't track and clumped great but now its very dusty, tracks everywhere and doesn't clump at all. We though we got a bad bucket so we bought another one and it's bad too so we won't be buying this product ever again.

I've been using this kind of litter for months now and I can't recommend it to anyone. It does a decent job masking the odors but it produces a ton of dust and it also doesn't clump urine very well. Almost every time I scoop urine, it completely breaks apart and falls back into the litter box.

Very surprised to read such poor reviews for this litter. We have 5 cats and unless we have no sense of smell (or anyone else who comes to our house) this litter has excellent odor control. I think it clumps just fine and minimal dust! Highly recommend....great product, great value! We were using Natures Miracle which is great but hard to find and very pricey.

Sams club I hope you reading this. This litter has gone down hill. The dust that is appearing is everywhere in the house and making respiratory problems for the cats and humans in the house. I have used this litter for a long time and have never had problems with dust but this is way too much. There is a clay film around tables and the TV. So just think what is doing to our lungs (meaning bothers cats and humans). Sorry but have to buy a different brand. Anyone else experiencing respiratory problems?

Best thing about this stuff is the bucket it came in. I have a LitterMaid and hoped this would work with it. It did not. Breaks apart, odor control is negligible. I usually use Fresh Step (I'll be going back to that). I have my laundry/utility room off kitchen and never before have I had litter box odor in my kitchen until I used this stuff. Many of the store brand items are great but this one is not.
