Doesn't maintain heat

I bought this grill less than a year ago. The door is coming off and most importantly the controls doesn't regulate the heat. Even when turned down to low, the heat is extremely high. I have to turn off the heat or open the hood in order to bring the heat down below 400.

Good grill till it rusts out under a year

Bought this in January, 2017. Worked great at first, plenty of room and temp. Noticed in Dec '17, high flames on the back gas bar and 3 of the 5 tubes. One cook, it went up in the sense that flames were everywhere and big ones at that. Upon turning off, the back gas bar was rusted through in many places, and 3 of the 5 tubes were rusted and burnt through. Also, the grill grates were rusting away, and had been requiring more intense cleaning after just a few months of use. Even at this price, not buying another one.

Awesome Grill at a great Price!

Was initially concerned about quality (given the price) - but went ahead with the purchase based on the positive comments. Out the door, this grill was a tad over $330. The box weighs 160 lbs - so it's at the upper limits of what one person can adequately handle. I was in no particular hurry and assembly took me about two hours by myself. Instructions were well executed and surprisingly easy to follow. All necessary tools were provided. Holes were pre-threaded - so no need to washers and nuts. The materials are high quality and seem to be well built. I was very much impressed at the overall build and quality of this grill. Once together, it fired up easily with no drama and a consistent flame and temperature. I see no reason why this grill won't last as long as my previous grill (7 years) - but the long term performance obviously remains to be seen. My initial impression of this grill is that it appears to be a fantastic value.

Do not Buy

This grill lasted us just over a year before it was unusable due to the burners rusting out and completely disintegrating. The manufacturer said we could purchase new burners at $20 a piece... with 5 burners plus tax and shipping that's 1/2 the cost of the original grill. Terrible. Just terrible. Especially since Sam's Club claims to have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Overall Practical Grill for about 1 year

I bought the grill about 1 year ago with the grill cover and some accessories. But within 1 year 4 out of the 5 burners rusted through. And now the back Main burner or gas transfer tubing is rusting out. Also the Porcelain grill is rusting and chipping so bad that I will have to replace that as well! I researched all of these parts online and they are not available to purchase through the manufacturer and to me a grill that cost $300 should last more then 1 year. Dont they know grills are kept outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not Happy

Low flame

Bought this grill the first time and had an issue with the flame not getting bigger. Thought it was the tank, so I replaced it. That didn't fix it. Returned the grill and got the same one. Put it together... again. Using the same tank as before, the grill worked great. No issues. Now I'm having the same issue I had with the first one. Taking back tomorrow and will not be getting this grill again. Great while it works though. Think there is something wrong with the regulator line that runs from the grill to the tank in these grills. At least the customer service at SAMs has been easy to work with.

Very nice Grill

This is one of the best made grills I have ever purchased. It was very easy to assemble and had exact instructions and a parts card with all the screws on it and what size. All threaded holes were perfect so no problem at all putting it together. Sam's DOES NOT sell a cover for it even though some of the questions answered say there is one. If they did they don't any longer.

Burners don't last

I have had my mm grill for a year and a month now. Like several others I noticed higher flames at crossbar and after removing grates and burner covers, discovered burners are falling apart. From what I have read, r replacement parts are impossible to find. Nice grill otherwise.

Solid Construction but poor quality burner tubes!!

I have owned this grill for less than 18 months and use it around 3 time a week. The grill sets on a covered deck and always have a grill cover on it when not in use. Turns out, its just like most other grills! The burners have already started to rust out and development cracks and holes with prevents proper flame control. Very disappointed in the quality of the burners. I have started to search the internet for replacements burners, but as of yet, no luck.

Good build concept, poor grates & tent covers

After having had returned the first grill for damage found upon opening the box (frustrating) - I brought home round 2 and found no damage. Assembly was fairly easy and didn't take a whole lot of time. The grill is very heavy duty and fit together like a dream. The knobs are very smooth in operation and the igniter and pull out propane tray are fantastic. There are definitely pros to this grill. What I'm most disappointed with are grates and burner tents. I have taken care of this grill perfectly. It's not stored outside and get cleaned after every use. In the course of 1 year, I've used this grill 6 times and the grates and burner tents are rusting. No rust on the outside at all. I've contacted customer service and never received any offer of replacement parts or money back. The only other con I can come up with other than the rust is that the edges of the stainless side tables are very sharp. I've actually sliced my finger moving the grill from the garage to the yard (again, it's always stored). Just learned to be more careful when moving it.
