We found some white membrane inside our syrup after using it for a while. I would like to know what it is.

We purchased this a short time ago and it was in a glass bottle. We loved the taste, packaging, and respectable price for organic maple syrup. We will not be purchasing again until the glass bottle returns. A pricey, organic item deserves the best packaging. Not one where you have to be concerned about microplastics. Should have never changed that.
