These are the worst alkaline batteries. They have leaked and damaged almost every device I have used them in. They leak well before the device shows signs of low battery. As others have said, they even leak new in the package. The famous I'm pretty much done with all alkaline batteries. Rechargeable or lithium for me.

Don't quite understand why these batteries get such good rating. I have several outdoor water controllers and, when I have problems with them, most of the time, I'm pulling out these batteries and replacing them with Duracells. Everything works fine afterwards. When I replace the batteries in multiple controllers at the same time with these and Duracells, the Duracells always signficantly outlast these batteries. Not worth the hassle to save a few bucks on batteries if I'm having to replace them sooner.

These batteries used to last but the last package I bought don't have a long life. I use 4 AA batteries in my keyless lock and I'm literally replacing them every 3-4 weeks with normal use. They used to last 4 or 5 months.

Two things, first they don't last as long as other batteries, and when I put them in a thermometer after a while, it would not work. I checked the voltage with a volt meter and it showed proper voltage and current, but would not work until I put another brand in it. Also, they started leaking after a while.

Just purchased a pack of these batteries for various items around the house. However, the most important one being my bp machine. I removed the old batteries and put in all new MM batteries. Didn't need it at the time, so placed it to the side. Fast forward a week later and I go to take my bp and the machine wont even turn on. I replaced the "new" batteries with another set from the pack and nothing. I figured the machine had finally ran it's course after 4 years. But then I decided to put in the previous batteries and the machine started up displaying low battery, but functional none-the-less! So I replaced all the old batteries with different "new" batteries from MM and return to blank screen. So I got a big package of dead batteries that I now have to return! Maybe it was just a fluke, but when I return them I am going to get me a trusted brand. Which is what I should of did initially.

Typical performance when it works. Will leak and spill corrosive gunk all over your devices. I am writing this review just after realizing that yet another desk clock in my office has been destroyed by a faulty battery. 5 cent part has destroyed another $12 clock. Previously I have lost more battery operated small equipment (calculators, oximeters, etc.) Lastly, "better" brands are not faring any better.

I find myself having to replace these faster than I have in the past. I'm going to look elsewhere to buy a bulk pack which is really inconvenient for me. But I no longer trust these batteries
