They're just right. Not too strong and certainly not chintzy. I was a caterer and using tongs for long periods of time the pressure necessary to operate them was important. I don't want a forearm exerciser and I've had all kinds but these are the right amount of spring strength and stainless steel quality...baby bear soup.

Excellent value for the price. Put them in the dishwasher without issues.

These are heavy duty restaurant quality. I’d pay twice as much for these, if not more.
