I don't know how this gets such a high rating, its a far cry from mayonnaise. Its sweet. It tastes like 3/4 miracle whip and 1/4 mayonnaise. If your needing mayo for a sweet sauce, (cole slaw, etc) this would be an economical way to make it. If your looking for a mayo taste.... forget it.

I bought this because others said that it was just like Hellman's. No it's not. This is more oily in texture and lacking in flavor than Hellman's. Even Kraft mayonnaise has a "fluffiness" that this mayo lacks. Don't get me wrong, I've had far worse, but this mayo shouldn't be compared to Hellman's, which is still the best in my book. I guess there's a reason that Hellman's costs so much more!

I have been using this mayonnaise for several years now & love it. I am simply a retired homeowner, with 2 adults in our home & wanted to save money, since we are on a fixed income. Even though this is a large container, it fits in my refrigerator, quite well. I have found that for my needs, one container will last about 6 or 7 months & is used well within the out-date time. I highly recommend this product. It is thick, tasty & simply an excellent product. Cost wise, you can't beat the price.

Prior to 2020 I would buy this product for $6.98 I saw that there was going to be a price increase so I bought several gallons of this, I cook for a soup kitchen so I use a lot of this. In just a couple of years it has gone up to $14.98 and it appears that the taste of the product has changed I didn't know whether they have changed the ingredients or the formulation but it not to be the same quality of mayonnaise. What a shame! You would think with the gigantic price increase the product would be even better - not so.

I own a restaurant & bake shop. I have used Bakers & Chefs extra heavy mayonnaise for several years and it has always proven to be a success in any of our homemade foods and sandwiches. I take great pride in the foods that we serve to our customers. Having an extra heavy mayonnaise that you can count on every time, for every recipe makes a difference to me and my customers.

I made the mistake of purchasing this product in January. It used to be tolerable (however not as good as Wilsey Mayo) but apparently they've now changed the recipe and it's terrible.. If you use this for food you want people to actually enjoy (and for which you want them to give you POSITIVE reviews), go with Duke's, or Best Foods/Hellman's Mayo over this product !!!

My whole family like Wilsey, the delicious of brand previously carried by Sam's. We also enjoy Best Foods, Hellmann's, and Blue Plate. Those are all real mayonnaise. This mayo however is just awful. Tried it twice in case it was a bad batch. It's always bad.
