My Favorite Daily Use Coffee

I love this coffee. I drink it every day. I give it away as a gift. I grind the beams with a burr grinder and use a pour-over process to make each cup individually. I use a specific water to coffee ratio and a specific hot water to ground coffee introduction. I admit to being a coffee snob and drink only premium coffee like this one.

Not sure if I will try again

Dissapointed in this coffee. If you like Folgers you will find this to be the equivalent except you will have to grind. The coffee freshly ground just lays there and does not swell and expand as it should when the hot water hits it. Makes me think I may have gotten a really old batch.

Life changing

Love this coffe more than words. I grinding whole beans a few times a week is much better than using the k cups although not a major difference from ground it tastes slightly better!!! Tried this at international day at my childs school (Columbia station) and have been hooked ever since. Even purchased a membership just to order this coffe from Sam's club.

Drink it every day

I drink this coffee every day and love it. However I have found the coffee maker you have very much effects the taste of any coffee. I use a Bunn and it is fantastic in this fast drip method of making coffee. FYI my coffee maker broke and during the time it took me to get a new one I used another type of coffee maker and it was not the same at all.... But I kind of expected that from a previous experience. I love this coffee.

Better coffee

I used to spend so much money on premium brands, I wish I had found this coffee sooner! I use the whole bean and grind it myself, as I have done for other brands, but this one is just as good or better than the name brands with a more reasonable price.

Fantastic!!

I loved the Kirkland Starbucks beans but had to switch to a Sam's Club membership after a recent move. Didn't think I'd find a suitable replacement of quality and value but this my friends, is IT! Such great flavor, never harsh or bitter. Makes an excellent cup. The undertone of chocolate isn't pronounced at all but definitely there. Oh, I love this coffee!! Please never stop carrying it, Sam!

Very good coffee

I am very impressed with this coffee. The price per pound is great for what you get. We used one of the regional brands before trying this. We went back to that brand for one bag and found we preferred this over the other brand. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. I use an automatic drop but I am also wanting to try this using the pour-over and cold brew methods as well in the future.

Really Good Coffee Beans

Really Good Coffee Beans

For years I bought Costco Columbian Beans and loved them. There was a big roaster at my local store with lots of choices of freshly roasted beans, and wow. Then, the roaster disappeared and the Kirkland beans were packaged differently, shipped in and only Columbian was available. So I tried it once. Yuck. Once was more than enough so I started looking for a different source and Sam’s was it. These Maker’s Mark Columbian beans are really good, My wife and I have been very pleased. Our coffee maker grinds and then drips the coffee. The price is also more than fair. To be honest, I was somewhat desperate as we had run through the Starbucks varieties and nothing fit the replacement bill. I saw Sam’s beans, which were on sale, and thought why not try them. I am glad I did. You can talk about chocolate and caramel, dark or medium, or hints of fufu, I don’t care. What I will say is that this smells great as it is brewing and makes a very pleasant cup of coffee. As with any coffee you have to adjust the amount to hit your sweet spot. We came off overly dark, oily and a little bitterish Starbucks so I added a little bit more Sam’s beans and voila, a very pleasant cup of coffee. Try it and see for yourself.

Coffee the most important meal of the day

Don't believe the naysayers! I've been drinking this for 10+ years and the only thing that has changed is the name and packaging. The secret to a great pot of coffee is: grinding to a fine powder (using less for same strength), using a gold and bleach-free paper filter, tamping coffee down as tightly as possible, pouring into a preheated carafe within 5 minutes of brewing. Of course if you're not using a good drip maker such as a Krups, which has a control to make a bolder flavor, you'll probably not get the perfect pot of coffee.

Not a fan of this coffee!

I've bought this a few times when Sam's was out of Pablos Pride. I don't like it and for a couple of bucks more, might as well get Starbucks. I see that I can order Pablo's Pride online and plan on doing that in the future. PP is a really good coffee at a great price. Stay away from Members Mark.
