Just like the last three times that I purchased this product from Sam's online (my local warehouse doesn't carry it), the expiration is extremely near. At the time of delivery, there was only 1 week left till the printed expiration date. I keep buying it because it's much cheaper than my local supermarket, and also because I doubt if I would notice the difference in taste even after the expiration date, at least for a few weeks, it's really disappointing that it seems Sam's never carries this product with longer length till expiration.

We love this coffee around my house. It really hits the spot when you just want a straight forward cup of coffee with great balance and flavor. It's also great for entertaining because you can serve it to anyone without worrying if it's going to be too acidic or too overpowering. As I say, it's just a good cup of Joe!

I’ve tried and enjoyed other dark roasts from Peet’s. I usually use them for espresso. I got House Blend for pour overs, and I’ve found my favorite beans! Rich and sweet, great body, this actually tops the other, more expensive blends. It really is great for a pour over, but it is so rich, it’s my new favorite for espresso too. A very balanced, full-bodied, smooth cup, however you brew it.

I’ve loved this coffee ever since the late 1970s when I would walk the three blocks down Walnut Street to get my coffee at what I think was the original Peets. I’d mix it half and half with the decaf house blend, so I could drink more coffee! They’re still terrific!

I enjoy a cup of coffee that you can taste but is not bitter. Frequently coffee that is extra strong comes with that added bitterness that I do not care for and this coffee has the flavor I have been looking for for a long time. Purchasing it through Sam's means that I pay about the same price as I do at a regular grocery store for Folgers French roast. I look forward to having this coffee every morning. Highly recommend!

When I moved from the Bay Area to San Diego, one thing I really missed was fresh roasted Peet's House Blend. But then I found I could order it for delivery (good thing for lockdown times)! It's been my favorite for years and will be for years to come!

If I really told you how much I adored this coffee - can't wait to have a cup or two when I get up in the morning - how long it has been a favorite -- you'd say wow, I should try it! I am trying to keep this a secret so they never run out or worse (so it never gets horded like you know what) - can you blame me? It's my fav!!

We really do enjoy this coffee. It has full, rich, bold taste. My husband drinks it black; I prefer it with 2% milk (or cream) —but we both LOVE it. We KNOW we are drinking coffee and not some swill, weak blend! Think most will also appreciate its flavor.

Peet's House Blend is very rich and flavorful. The first thing I noticed was the aroma! It smelled so wonderful when I opened the bag. It tastes and smells so fresh! Mmmmm! The taste is fairly bold, and it's a dark roast, so it's strong, but it's not bitter. I've already signed up to receive a bag on a regular basis. Thank you "Peet's Coffee Company". I hope you put that gigantic-but-mediocre coffee company out of business!

I was a dedicated French Roast fan and almost hesitated to try something else though the helpful Peet's rep suggested that I might like the House Blend--and I love it. House Blends from other brands have typically been medium roast and kind of middle of the road for broad appeal so this was an extremely pleasant surprise!
