I am really enjoying the House Blend coffee. It's full body tastes great but it doesn't taste burnt. I don't care for French roast coffee.

House Blend is the first coffee I ever tried from Peet’s and 30+ years later it remains my favorite. Simply a great cup of coffee.

I ran out of my preferred brand at work and ran across the street and got some of this to hold me over until I could get my usual. I like good dark roasts. This is burned and stale. I guess House Blend is not so much the preferred blend of complementing flavors as it is just a name for "we mixed the ones we couldn't otherwise sell". The bag does not lie. It is distinctive and deeeeeeeeeeply roasted to maximize flavor, not a good flavor, but a flavor. It changed my expectations.

Flavors are pretty simple: soft roast/smoke, lightly roasted nuts, and black pepper. The smokiness is amplified when iced, but it just doesn't have a complex flavor profile compared to other blends. I guess it's been too long since I've last tried a House Blend, so my palate is more accustomed to the bright, bold flavors of the other Signature Blends and single origin beans. If I had to recommend a blend to show off how good Peet's can be, then it wouldn't be this one...but I guess as a House Blend, it's a good introduction.

I almost always buy Starbucks Cafe Verona. It's been my favorite for years. Well, I have a new favorite. Peets House Blend is the best coffee that I've ever had. It's definitely a dark roast, but it's smooth and never bitter. It's a great price at Sam's Club, too.

My wife and I got started on Peet's coffee about 7 years ago with Major Dickasons for espresso and house blend for drip brewing. Get 2 pounds of house blend beans delivered every 2 weeks which is the most fresh way to buy, arrives within 2 days of roasting, then store beans in a vacuum canister and bur grind each morning. Brew in Technivorm Moccamaster brewer with thermal carafe. Best cup of drip coffee every day. Subscribing is the way to go, never run out. Thank you Peet's.

House Blend, it is more than what it sounds like...what a coffee! House Blend is a fabulous blend of Latin American coffees, that is so easy and delicious to drink. I have the opportunity to drink some of the best coffees the world has to offer, yet, I go back to House Blend and just say Ahhhh. It is one of my three favorite coffees. I enjoy it in the winter months as well as the warmer months...hot or iced...really really yummy.

House Blend makes really great espresso. I used to use mainly Garuda for lattes but House is just as good or better for this for my taste, although a tad lighter. Also less $. Probably my best ever lattes have been with House blend using a Bezerra BZ10.

Peets coffees are all roasted to perfection! I've tried just about everything in their store. I was a Major D's fan, then switched to Peets medium roasts, also ordered the Kona, JR Reserve, the Red Harrar (not sure of the spelling), a couple of the deep roasts...all of them. Up until this morning I had never tried the House Blend! I bought it yesterday, whole bean, at Target. WOW!!! It's not too dark, it's not too medium...it's just right. I LOVE it! It's smooth, great tasting and looks like it's time to put another pot on!! Highly recommended ... and....the price is right. From now on, this is one of my "go to" coffees from Peets!

This is an all day long blend. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
