I purchased this container to keep cat food fresh. So far, it has been amazing. The lid screws on and off easily and a scoop was included too. I have 2 outside cats that I feed and I wanted to store their food near the dishes outside. I plan to order more of these containers for dog food and chicken feed!

This is my second purchase of these containers from Sams. They are tough, they hold a lot and they look nice. I always tell people about how good they keep your food. I use one for horse supplements and the other one I use for storing cat food. They are easy to fill and easy to open and they come with the nice rubber seal around the lid that helps keep your food fresh. You also can't beat the price anywhere.

I ordered these after reading reviews. I buy 40lb of large size dog kibble and it just about fills up the 60lb container. I also got the 40lb container for a 30lb bag of small size dog kibble The covers are hard to line up and close so they need to reevaluate the design of them. Overall the sturdiness is great, order a size up and be prepared to wrestle the cover back on!

Love these storage containers! Easy to use & stackable. The large angled opening makes it very easy to reach in & scoop. I'm using mine for birdseed & sunflower seeds and even though it come with a small scoop I am able to use a quart size pitcher to scoop out easily.

We purchased 4 of these containers for holding various for our winter birds and chickens because we found that field mice were chewing through our other containers. What a good decision! The construction is great and the bin-style is ergonomically better in that it enables you to scoop the seeds without the long reach when seeds are getting low. The lid screws on with a middle raised area that makes it easy to open. It opens smoothly. We don't worry about seeds getting wet and ruining them. Very satisfied and we are definitely going to purchase more.

This is a nifty container. It is not super heavy when empty so it's easy to move wherever you need it. It holds a good capacity of dog food, and the screw on top helps to keep the food fresh and dry. The container can stand upright or be set on its side for double stacking.

Everything it says is exactly as it says I put in 50 pounds of dog food it held it with no problem and lid seals my cat food since I bought 3 of them is out in my shed weather saw kinds of animals nothings gotten into it and there still enough Room to put away the cat dish so that I don't lose anything overnight

Perfect! It seals; now my cat can no longer make his midnight dog food raids! It's food grade which means I can store bulk rice or other human food in it if I need. It's stackable which saves precious space in my barn's tack room and can hold an entire 50lb bag of chicken and livestock feed. And the icing on the cake; Sam's Club is the lowest price around and has free shipping! No other store came close to Sam's!!! The only problem I've run into is that I didn't buy more of them!

This container keeps our pet's food dry and fresh. It also keeps out any unwanted pests. The smell upon opening the container is strong and off-putting, but a quick wash with some Dawn gets rid of that. Just don't forget to dry the container thoroughly before adding in your pet's food!

Had been using a metal garbage can after squirrels got in the plastic container I was storing my dogs' food in. Ran across this container while shopping at Sams Club. So far it's working out great. No critters are able to get into and holds a whole big bag of dog food. If there was one slight downside it would be getting the top back on making sure it's tight. But honestly no big deal.
