This container is great for dog food and I did purchase 2 as I have 2 dogs on different foods. I feed them proplan and buy the 34 lb bags the entire bag does NOT fit in on container maybe they meant 30lb container

I had previously bought a food container like this. I thought it was the same size as the one I had when I ordered it online, however, it is a much smaller version.

I decided to purchase this to avoid seeing the huge bag of dog food in my kitchen & I love it. Seals tight & no more lingering smell of dog food because we didn't close the bag properly. Easy to twist open & close. Comes with a scoop to serve food.

Very excellent quality for food storage. I wish my cabinet was taller so i could get 1 for my cat food. There is mo way bugs could get in or freshness out. Thanks to sams for their superb selection. I always go there 1st.

Overlooked the FACT IT WAS THE 40LB AND NOT THE 60LB THAT I WAS ABLE TO PICK UP IN CLUB...HAD TO PAY SHIPPING SO IT WASNT WORTH THE HASSEL TO RETURN REAL BUMMER GREAT PRODUCT BUT NEEDED THE BIGGER SIZE. WENT BACK IN WEBSITE & NEVER CAME UP TO ORDER THE 60LB

We were given one of these vaults as a gift and loved it, it holds an entire 40# bag of dog food with a little room at the top. We liked it so much, we decided to buy 2 more. I ordered the "40lb+" models but when they arrived, they were much smaller than what we had. So, our original model turned out to be a "60lb" model and holds a 40# bag of dog food with room to spare but the "40lb+" model holds less than 35# of the dog food we use, Purina ONE SmartBlend True Instinct Natural with Real Turkey and Venison Adult Dry Dog Food in 40# bags that we buy at Sam's Club. You might be able to fit 40# of cracked corn or 40# of tiny pelleted rabbit food in one of these, but not dog food. Why not make them just a bit bigger to allow them to hold the advertised amount??
