My mother had passed away several years ago and my father suffered a stroke so he made the choice to move with us. That meant packing up not only our home but everything from my parents home as well. Needless to say we used MANY rolls of tape. With so many boxes to build and seal I tried to cut costs by using "store brand" tape. I ended up using twice as much because they did not stick as well as Scotch so after 1 roll I went back to my trusty Scotch brand packing tape with the easy to use Heavy Duty dispenser. I LOVE the soft grip handle and how quick and easy it is to load the tape in the handle. This kept the momentum flowing and we were able to get more packing done with less hassle.

I needed to return a box filled with multiple heavy items. This tape was amazing for getting a very neat and tight seal when closing. The dispenser made stretching the tape across the box a breeze. The serrated cutting edge was efficient when I needed to clip the end of the tape. I would highly recommend this when you want a high performance seal with ease of use.

It is almost impossible to break. The grip of this product has been amazing the way it sticks to almost any surface. I know that one of the largest shipping companies around uses this product to seal packages that come open to help them reach their destination successfully.

I filled a box with old photos and taped it shut, I sealed and mailed a box of AZ goodies to my brother and my daughter used it to create a poster board of her artwork. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having family in another state, I frequently am sending gifts for birthdays, anniversarys, etc. This means boxing up gifts and mailing them. This tape is excellent for sealing boxes. The tape is heavy and seals extremely well. When using UPS, I print my own labels and this tape is perfect for covering that label and still allows them to scan. It is easy to dispense, cut and apply. In fact, one can use the dispenser to affix the tape to the side of the box and pull it over and down onto the other side of the box and quickly cut it using the cutter in the dispenser. It's also great for repairing torn large items like a display poster. I find this tape as an intergal part of my home office not only for shipping but also for many other tasks that require a heavy duty tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Scotch Brand Heavy Duty Shopping/Packing Tape with a Dispenser free to evaluate, and I can say I was not disappointed with the product! We use lots of packing tape when storing items in boxes in our storage units, and we have used this tape often. The tape is strong, and keeps sticking even when exposed to extreme temperatures. The tape can be written on for easy identification of boxes. The smaller dispenser is much more convenient to use than the large handled device we were using previously. I also use the tape to secure the labels on my bottles of homemade extracts to ensure the remain readable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this tape, Scotch Heavy Duty Packing Tape, at no charge from 3M for my use and review. I found the tape to be definitely heavy duty. The tape feels heavy and has a slick feel to the non-sticky side. It is sticky and adheres well to the cardboard box I've tested it on. I did find the tape to be thick enough that it was a bit difficult to tear with the enclosed dispenser. I would recommend this tape as it does the job of sealing very well.
