[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only kind of packing tape to use! Other kinds get wadded when you try to take them off the roll, etc. This tape always goes where you put it and stays there!! It is very durable and usually takes only one strip!!

It holds securely. I don't have to worry about my packages when I send them through any mail/package carrier. The tape holds strongly and does not tear when applying it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been on a budgeting plan ever since I lost my job in January 2010 and have tried several generic type tape to save money and realized after trying several off brand (off-brand meaning any brand besides Scotch) and came to see why it was cheaper. They are cheaper because they substitute quality in my opinion. I went back to purchasing Scotch brand tape for all off my taping needs including packing tape, labeling tape, wrapping tape and office tape and I am in relief! Scotch tape works wonders and has never been the tape used when a package busted open, a big bubble was left on my shipping label and never has Scotch tape tore and stuck to the tape roll while ripping in pieces trying to peel it back off the roll. After all of my trial and errors I came to realize one fact worth notating... While the economy is tough and though we are all cutting back there is just some things that have no substitute and that is Scotch brand tape. It works fabulously. Period. It has no substitute! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I use a flea comb on my cat, I first tear off a small piece of scotch packaging tape and hold it above the comb as I comb thru her fur so when the fleas jump they go into the tape. I also use the tape to remove any fur or fleas off the comb. Sometimes if they jump on me I tear off a large amount of tape and keep applying it on my clothes on and off until I catch them on the tape. I know this sounds crazy but it works wonderfully. You just have to be careful not to get it stuck on the cat's fur. Also works good on picking them off of surfaces too. Thank you for your product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product the other day and have already used it to reinforce the boxes I use for storage...I like the format and don't have to find a knife or pair of scissors to cut the product. I like that it is clear so I can use it to protect the address from running on packages I send out.

I was in need of packing/shipping tape that would actually STICK to the various shipping materials I use, and Stay stuck. Other tapes never kept cardboard boxes closed during transit, or I had to use do much if it, it was rediculous. Scotch® Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape works better than I ever could have hoped for. I run an online retail shop and usually need to pack and ship multiple packages a day. This tape is the ONLY tape I've found (and believe me I've tried them all) that actually WORKS. I only need one strip to seal a box top securely, due to the tapes extra durable thickness. No more 'X' pattern across box tops, no more going through a roll of tape every few days.
