This was bought to make my life easier since I ship so many products for my business. Instead the design is completely flawed and it is impossible to cut the tape. When the tape is cut, the box gets cut with it. Very displeased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since you have come out with the "easier" to handle packaging tape dispenser- no longer am I messing the tape all up with my attempt to put it on a package. For years and years I always hated having to get the "tape gun" as we all called it because even when it ran out we all dreaded having to remember the flow of how the tape was threaded to come out on the other end correctly. Maybe I am in the minority with the previous hassle of packaging tape but I don't think so. This has been like a miracle in our office.

I always have to carry scissors to cut pieces of tape when using it on a package. I used it on my package that was busting at the seems to test the heavy duty part. The tape itself is thick. The stickiness works well. Just make sure to press it down on the box to stick it well. Usually I use too much tape bc i am not sure it would stay stuck. Well I let this sit in a humid room for a weekend before sending it on Monday. It stayed stuck and looked great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does not seem to be much different that what I have used in past years. The tape itself is the best part of the product. The manipulating of the tape into the correct position for use, and keeping it there, are a little bit of a chore. The cutter seems to perform better than previously used versions. It takes a little bit extra coordination to use the device if you have larger hands, but perhaps I just need more practice.

The built in dispenser and cutter worked good. The cutting edge has many little teeth that allows for easy clean tears from the roll. This tape is great. I have never had any issue with 3M shipping or packing tape holding up to the rigors of shipping or moving. Having moved 10+ times in 17 years I understand the value in a high quality pack tape. Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape is the best. Even if it is a little more expensive than other tapes on the market the cost is easily justifiable.

We pack our orders, tape them up, ship and forget it. We use a number of tapes but the packaging tape is used the most. We have NEVER had a problem!! I needed to send a large package across the country to my brother and I used this Heavy Duty tape and it worked great ! I had no concerns that there would be any problems with shipping. I know the tape would hold and I did not need to worry that the seams or corners could come open. The built in dispenser is a wonderful feature, makes it so easy to use. I would recommend this product. !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the Scotch Heavy duty shipping tape. I had to ship a special comic to be signed, I neatly packaged it up and secured it with this tape. Unlike other shipping tape where you need to double the tape to make sure its secured. I also love that a little bit goes a long way. you don't need much tape either. Have to say I will be buying this just not for shipping but for also packing when I move. Its a brand I can count on!!
