I was able to get my measurements done. I would not have been able to hang my husbands deer mount without the help of the masking tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] you might not think masking tape and wallets, purses and decorating would ever be in the same sentence, but it is i love using scotch brand masking tape along with scotch brand deco tape and tough duct tape they come in all patterens and colors, and make these crafts with it it's durable to hold it's shape but at the same time if you mess up it can easily br reposioned, this tape is thin it's not bulky it is smooth easy to apply and easy to handle, yet it's strong and durable, it's not just for repairing things around the house anymore, The possibilites are endless, you no longer have to use wrapping paper to wrap presents anymore instead tape it, you can be as creative as you want the person getting the gifts will be just as excited about the package as they are about what's in it, i also take old lamp shades that most people would throw away and i revamp it i decorate it with colored and or patteren tape and it looks better and more expensive as a new lamp shade, i suggest getting any type of scotch brand tape and make handmade gifts for christmas or birthdays or just to make something for yourself, you will be the envy of all your friends, you can take a magazine cover and clear packageing tape and make a purse, wallet, folders and notebooks for school all you do is cover the magazine cover with clear packageing tape then make that into whatever you want, or you can make things using nothing but scotch brand tape, i know i have made several things....have fun with SCOTCH BRAND and let your imagine run wild...the flower pen below was made with scotch brand tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a garage sale every summer. To save money, I don't buy the expensive garage sale price stickers, I use Scotch Home and Office Msking Tape. I write the size and price on the masking tape, tear off the piece of masking tape and place the piece directly on the item to be sold. The Scotch Home and Office Masking Tape is easy to write on with no smudging and tears off the roll easily. It's conveinent because it then easily removes from the article after it is sold. I also use to tape on garage sale items with cords that need to be wound up. The Scotch Home and Office Masing Tape then removes easily for the customer after the item is sold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An intricate detailed ceramic flower pot tumbled off it's perch with a strong gust of wind & broke a section of the pot rim off. I love this pot & used Scotch Home and Office Masking Tape to mend the broken section as it's flexible enough to wrap around the broken area. That was 6 months ago and the taped pot has with stood weekly waterings & still is as strong as the day I placed the tape on the pot. Oh yes, and the flower does not seem to mind @ all as it is thriving & blooming! Scotch Tape is more than just for a quick fix to projects or mishaps as it holds on strong and long.

I put this tape all around the door and window seals to keep the paint from getting on them and paint away. Makes things go much faster. And the tape comes off without pulling any of the paint off! It works wonderfully!

Bought this tape last week and tried to use it today and can not get it off the roll no matter how easy and slowly I try, it just starts ripping/tearing from the get-go. I've had this happen to previous rolls and thought that maybe it was just old tape but it's the same with new tape. I don't know what you have changed but this tape isn't worth half the price it cost any more.

I have been a solid fan of 3M and Scotch products for 45 years and am brand loyal some 98% when purchasing. Two recent purchases have disappointed: the decorative masking tape, and the traditional, off-white masking tape. The decorative masking tape was semi-sheer and didn't have the opacity to cover/conceal, say, a transition in color, nor any pattern present on the surface beneath it. The traditional masking tape seems thinner, too, and the quality is not nearly what it used to be. I handle and store my tapes kindly. A banged-up roll of masking tape is much more likely to tear or rip lengthwise. But my new, fresh, not dented roll of Scotch masking tape has been extremely prone to lengthwise, angled tear-offs--pretty much every time it is used. I expected better from Scotch/3M.

What has happened to your masking tape? I have been using this masking tape all my life. My uncle even worked for 3M years ago. I’m not buying another roll. The last few I have struggled with to have the tape come off the roll without splitting into thin strips that went nowhere. At first I assumed I had gotten a “fluke,” but now I see that is the way your tape is. It seems too thin and has no body to it. What a disappointment your product has become. I use scotch tape because I want to be at its best so why settle for anything but the best tape in the market. I feel I that I am getting the highest quality masking tape that money can buy; this tape strong in any surfaces, in the wall, cartons, boxes,metal,glass and more so high quality tape for a high quality me.

I bought this a month ago and I'm totally disappointed. It will not unroll without breaking off. It sticks to itself so hard it's almost impossible to unroll. I tossed all 6 rolls in the trash it was so bad. Not only would I not recommend this product to a friend, I would not recommend it to someone I dislike.
