Had to return

I grew up in the Seattle area and right when I opened the bag it smelled like “home”. Beans appear to be fresh, wonderful aroma, and they were a great value, especially when bought with “instant savings”.

I'm back to grinding my own beans again. I've bought Starbucks ground coffee elsewhere at what I thought was a decent price, but after finding the whole beans in a 40 oz bag for much less per ounce, I'll grind my own again thanx. My entire order shipped quickly, was very well packed, and money was saved, which is always a plus. Thank you Sam's.

I've brewed many different beans and these are good. I use a percolator mostly and also with a french press. I like the french press result better (more intense flavor) but my old style percolator coffee pot makes more at a time so I go that direction. I like the 40 ounce size. I keep them in a special bean canister with proper venting to help them stay fresh as long as possible. I would buy these again at a sale price. If not on sale, I buy an Member's Mark brand but only b/c my budget doesn't match my taste. Starbuck's are a much more favorable bean. I like my coffee strong and black.

This is a very nice coffee but it's also really pumped up on intensity of flavor, especially if you're used to some of the older classic ground supermarket coffees. That being said I like this particular roast better then most of the starbucks. It has more approachable taste and feel in my mouth. Being whole bean which you grind just before using it, it has a much fresher taste then the ground version of the same coffee.

Coffee is a personal taste. This blend is very strong, but is not bitter. I have been using the Breakfast Blend for years. Decided to try the House Blend. It is much stronger than the Breakfast Blend. However, I have gotten used to it and actually enjoy the flavor.

I'm happy there are more options to grind my own whole coffee beans. I liked this blend.... at first, but then it seemed kinda weak. I tweeked this to my more robust, dark liking by mixing half a bag of this one along with Sams Colombian Blend Whole Beans. I also really love that you can grind you own coffee before leaving out the door!

I been using this product for years! Sam's offers an incredible price on this coffee. I always prefer the bean coffee because it stays fresh longer. I do not buy anywhere else because I do not get the price I get at Sam's for the quality of this coffee.

We love Starbucks coffee whole beans. Our Miele machine grinds the beans and makes the coffee. Our local Sam’s has stopped carrying the Starbucks whole beans but that’s fine I stock up when they are on special and order them through the Sam’s website.

My husband & I love this coffee, and ever since we started buying it, we much prefer the coffee we make it home to going to going to a coffee shop. Sam’s runs great sales on this from time to time with their Instant Savings program, so we try to stock up on it then. It’s definitely worth paying a little more money for quality coffee, especially when it keeps you from going to the coffee shops as often.
