The House Blend is a favorite of mine. I do use creamer but it only enhances the flavor. This coffee is a staple along with a couple others at my house. I love the cocoa taste and the coffee doesn't have a strong overwhelming bitter taste. I love this coffee.

Did Starbucks change their House Blend beans and/or suppliers? This has been my go to coffee for almost 20 years and now I can barely drink it since it is so bad. Instead of being “Rich and Lively”, which it is not anymore. It is now has “Cocoa and Toffee”and no rich taste. I can taste that you have made changes but not for the good. It reminds me Pike Peak which I refuse to drink. I will be returning the second bag of the “new” House Blend and will be looking for something else.

I tried this after two of my fellow baristas suggested having it iced on our store's Clover machine, and all I can say is WOW. House blend is a tasty coffee that's not too light or too dark, not too acidic or bitter, not too complex, etc; to me, it really just makes a lovely, well-balanced cup of coffee. And the best part? It never leaves that unpleasant coffee aftertaste in your mouth. I've since turned another partner at my store and a few family members onto this coffee, and we all agree that it's a wonderful blend. If you're looking to cool down, definitely try this one iced as well!

A couple of months ago I decided to take my health more seriously and embarked on a new way of eating. One of the things I had to give up for the first 30 days was my morning Starbuck's run. That was not easy! Someone suggested adding instant coffee to my protein shake so I tried it. Awesome! I obviously chose Starbuck's Via as my instant coffee. It adds zero calories and turns my morning shake into a protein frappucino! This worked out so well that 90 days later, I still have not made a morning Starbucks run... I do enjoying brewing regular Starbucks coffee on weekends... but my daily coffee protein shake has helped me reach and exceed my goals. :) Thanks Starbucks!

I've never been a coffee person because of the taste. One day I was in the store and wanted to find out why every body loves starbucks coffee so I bought a bag made it when I got home. It was the first coffee to smell good brewing and it tastes really good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally love their coffee, but this one seemed a little bitter to me. The smell of the coffee was amazing. The coffee was also a bit strong, but their brand always is. I probably will stick to the regular Starbucks coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice smooth robust flavor. If you are looking for a mild coffee with a nice flavor this is it! It doesn't leave any coffee residue at the bottom of your coffee cup or coffee grounds. Which is a major plus!

I am a coffee drinker tried lots of different blends. Just tasted House Blend in Japan in the Origami package, and now I am looking in it trying to find where to buy. Seems that is not available? Might worth reconsider bringing it up again, it's not just for the consumer but for Starbucks as well. Regards, Kostas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starbucks is always great coffee, especially if you need that extra kick in the morning.. Starbucks is a little bit stronger then the other brands, which for me is a plus. Lol especially on the hard days of trying to get it together
