I am a coffee drinker, but I don't like a coffee that is too bold. I LOVE the Starbucks experience, so to continue to enjoy it, I found a way to "doctor" up a latte so that it was more palpable. I needed a caffeine boost and I read that the Blonde has a good amount of caffeine but with a lighter, smoother taste. So I consulted my barista :) Stephen ... and he suggested that I try the 'Misto' prepared with my regular fixin's (toffee nut and vanilla bean, if you like flavor, it's delightful!). I was INSTANTLY in coffee drinker heaven. This is a new product that I can definitely stand behind. Three Cheers! *sippin my Misto..*

I have been drinking the Blonde Roast for years. My absolute favorite coffee. I actually didn't notice the new packaging until after I tried a fresh brewed cup. I threw it out as it tasted awful and not the flavor I expected. When I looked at box and seen the tasting notes I realized you had to do something because the flavor indeed has CHANGED. I will no longer be buying this brand sadly. I will go back to Dunkin Donuts Coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starbucks hit a home run with this Verdana blend. The flavors are velvety smooth and strong. The perfect blend for those who love a good strong, but not too bold cup of coffee. I highly recommend this delicious blend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this Veranda Blend. It is a light roast but the flavor is anything but light. It is sweet and mellow. I can smell and taste the hints of chocolate. I enjoy this blend both hot and cold. It pairs well with cream or flavored creamer but is good just black on it’s own. I usually stay away from light roasts because sometime I think they taste watered down. This blend was perfect and didn’t taste watery at all. This is a great blend that I could drink year around!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this one because it has a good basic taste. It isn’t too bitter or sweet and pairs well with different creamers, to personal taste. It’s also strong enough to be a functional morning brew (possibly too strong). My major issues are the way that Starbucks treats it workers and fights unions, and that they have paired with Nestle, a corporation known to use child slavery in the acquisition of cocoa. This makes me question the validity of any sustainability or fair trade claims in the manufacture of their product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I’m a BIG Starbucks coffee drinker, but my wife and I just had a baby so we need to find ways to cut back on our spending. One of the more obvious ways to cut back was to start brewing my own coffee at home. I was skeptical at first that it wouldn’t taste nearly as good as the real thing, but boy was I wrong! I decide to try this Veranda blend first and I’m obsessed. It’s definitely on the lighter side but still packs a punch with the caffeine. The flavors are amazing and it’s not too acidic or bitter. I love starting my mornings at home with a fresh pot of this light roast blend, and I’ve started to really look forward to this part of my routine now, especially with a new baby at home to attend to. Highly recommend to any Starbucks fans lookings to start brewing at home!
