I thought maybe it was my coffee machine giving it that awful taste but after looking at the tasting notes described as baking chocolate and toasted malt that explains the bitter taste that extra creamer won't fix and that is exactly what it is baking chocolate is bitter, they definitely changed the flavor it was soft cocoa and lightly toasted nuts, now nobody likes it you have 500 reviews saying it sucks, maybe fix it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These come in clutch. I’m a fan of Starbucks. I like having these when I don’t feel like going out spending the $$$. I add a bit of flavored syrup and some steamed oatmilk and it’s almost like the real thing.

My better half loves the French Roast, but that does not agree with me at all. SO STRONG! I love this, though. It's so smooth and not heavy tasting and doesn't upset my stomach at all. I only have to add a little bit of soy milk to "cream" it. I can drink two cups a day and feel perfectly caffeinated. Now I just do pour over coffee in the morning and he gets his cup and I get mine. At last!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only Starbuck's hot coffee I will drink. I dislike bitter strong coffee, and this is very different from other blends. It's mild, but a nice coffee flavor, not fruity and spicy like some. Just coffee. Good coffee. Thumbs up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to make a pot of coffee as soon as I received this. It was a little too strong so I just added some water to my cup to weaken it. On the other hand I actually love that it’s strong, that just means you don’t have to use as many crowns per pot. I would recommend this product for anybody who is a coffee lover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Starbucks CAFFE VERONA. I prefer a dark roast coffee with a great flavor and this coffee is one of the best I have tasted. There is a subtle hint of chocolate which makes you coming back for the next cup.

Bold coffee lovers do not despair. If you grind the beans to an fine espresso grind and use 1/4 more, the magnificent flavors of this coffee really come out. This then becomes a coffee even bold coffee lovers will really enjoy. Take it from me, I am one of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of the Starbucks Veranda Blend ground coffee through the TryIt Sampling Community and it is a very delicious roast. I was not a big fan of Starbucks due to the coast and robust flavor of their coffees. I had never tried the blonde roast, which is a light blend, and am a new fan. The flavor is full bodied and rich tasting. Very delicious coffee. Would highly recommend trying this Starbucks blend if you are on the fence, like I was.

It is smooth and flavorful with out being over powering for me. I love Starbucks flavored coffees but I get tired of them and need a break. This is the one I reach for the most.
