Great coffee at a reasonable price. Unfortunately Sam’s doesn’t carry the decaf version. So far only the Starbucks stores carry the decaf. We mix the regular Espresso Roast with Decaf to get the caffeine under control. Our local Sam’s need to replace the in-store grinders, as they can’t make the fine ground, only very coarse.

Starbucks has become the standard for American style Espresso drinks. Not that there are not plenty of other fine choices but their retail presence makes them a force in American culture and coffee consumption. The bean is best used in a fine grind with a quality espresso maker as to produce one of the finer espresso cremas (slightly sweet). But even with an AeroPress you'll get outstanding results sans crema. So its a 10 out of 10 on the Espresso side, a slightly more coarse grind yields a decent cup of drip coffee, more bitter (vs espresso), with a very slight, lingering, acrid aftertaste. This is not as noticeable or present when cream is added to the beverage; still a 7 out of 10 as a dark roast.

I absolutely LOVE the Starbucks ESPRESSO ROAST coffee and I can make it right at home. I have a Breville coffee grinder and I grind it very fine (like they do to make espresso). I use it in my drip coffee maker and it's absolutely delicious. Please continue to carry this coffee, it's the BEST!!!

Still, one of the best tasting everyday, Espresso beans in the US market. I try others in a few of the larger super-markets but I always come back to Starbucks Espresso bean for the richest flavor. Because of the oily bean, it has wreaked havoc on my espresso machines, so I mix it with other non-oily beans medium roast beans, so they pass through the hopper easily.

Great coffee, just the way we wanted. However, the "Molasses & Caramelized Sugar" print on the package is a bit too ambiguous. Confusing customers cannot be a desired effect. (We were so puzzled that we went home without buying it the first time.) I guess I understand what it means, but not sure, though.

We were unable to find Starbucks espresso beans in store, but discovered that Sam’s offers them online! I completed the entire purchase via mobile app and had my espresso delivered to my mail box in a couple of days. Very easy! Definitely recommend.

I usually drink Pike Place as my go to coffee but this will replace Pike for me in the future. The Starbucks Espresso roast is balanced perfectly having smooth robust flavor with no bitterness. I use it in my coffee maker, pour over, and espresso machine and all these methods yield the perfect cup of coffee.

I mix this in with my other beans, whatever our favorite grind is at the moment. Picks up the flavor and adds another layer. Makes a nice dark brew with no bitterness or acidity. I make a few pots every weekend with brunch and my hubby loves this. My absolute favorite just wish it was in stores.

Starbucks is by far one of the best whole bean coffees out there. We've tried other brands and they almost always they fall short on quality and flavor. We drink strong, dark roast coffee and when I saw this on sale on the Sam's Club website I bought two because I rarely find the Espresso Roast anywhere but at a Starbucks store and the price was excellent.

I've tried a lot of other brands and types of beans in my Jura-Capresso S7 machine over the years but when I want a good, flavorful cup of coffee or espresso this product has proven consistently superior bag to bag and cup to cup. Competitively priced. Never unpleasantly bitter or otherwise distracting from what you want in a cup of coffee,
