I usually drink Pike Place as my go to coffee but this will replace Pike for me in the future. The Starbucks Espresso roast is balanced perfectly having smooth robust flavor with no bitterness. I use it in my coffee maker, pour over, and espresso machine and all these methods yield the perfect cup of coffee.

Still, one of the best tasting everyday, Espresso beans in the US market. I try others in a few of the larger super-markets but I always come back to Starbucks Espresso bean for the richest flavor. Because of the oily bean, it has wreaked havoc on my espresso machines, so I mix it with other non-oily beans medium roast beans, so they pass through the hopper easily.

Te coffee is very good, but there's nothing magical about Starbucks. The coffee beans I normally use, Rio Grande, are equally good and at regular prices is less money ($16 for 3 lbs. vs $19 - $20 for 40 oz. of the Starbucks. It was on sale so I had to try it. Very good but nothing special.

Great coffee at a reasonable price. Unfortunately Sam’s doesn’t carry the decaf version. So far only the Starbucks stores carry the decaf. We mix the regular Espresso Roast with Decaf to get the caffeine under control. Our local Sam’s need to replace the in-store grinders, as they can’t make the fine ground, only very coarse.

It's not as good as it used to be. The beans used to be darker and had more oil on them. The taste was more intense. The last several bags have been much weaker tasting with light colored beans and less oil. It's still good, and a lot better than another espresso roast I recently purchased, but I miss my old Starbucks espresso roast.

I absolutely LOVE the Starbucks ESPRESSO ROAST coffee and I can make it right at home. I have a Breville coffee grinder and I grind it very fine (like they do to make espresso). I use it in my drip coffee maker and it's absolutely delicious. Please continue to carry this coffee, it's the BEST!!!

I haven’t had the chance to try it yet so it’s kinda hard to do a review. As well I tried to purchase two more bags online and it said they were sold out then I drove over from my location 35 miles to do some shopping and low and behold there was still plenty off Starbucks whole beans left go figure right I did manage to order some Starbucks ground though.

I've tried a lot of other brands and types of beans in my Jura-Capresso S7 machine over the years but when I want a good, flavorful cup of coffee or espresso this product has proven consistently superior bag to bag and cup to cup. Competitively priced. Never unpleasantly bitter or otherwise distracting from what you want in a cup of coffee,

The Kcup version is dusty, somewhat powdery in the cup, like it's not coarse filtering itself out well enough in the brewing process. I am not a fan of that. The Kcups are also environmentally wasteful. I don't appreciate that part either. But the flavor itself is tasty, as long as you mix it with a little bit of sweetener of choice and a splash of whatever dairy you prefer to sort of dull down the intensity. #freesample #ad
