Just my liking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a nice bold espresso that gives you that extra jolt no matter the time of the day it is. The Starbucks espresso roast ground coffee gave me just that. I love the smell and that even though it was ground, it taste very fresh.

Awesome! Even from drip pot

At the moment all we have available to us is a drip coffee maker. It is really good on its own with maybe a little bit of sugar, but it only gets 4 stars because it tastes kinda weak when mixed with milk. even with a typical cafe au lait ratio of 2/3 milk 1/3 coffee its flavors get lost. I usually also use 2 tbs for only a 3 ounce shot of coffee, rather than for 6 oz like recommended, to get a stronger small amount rather than a weaker large one. Like i said though, great on its own with a little sugar, i like it better than the espresso i got the other day at olive garden.

Begin your morning with Espresso Roast!

At our house we start the day with Espresso Roast--both the full-bodied blend and the decaf. Well, you can't imagine the aroma--or can you? I have discovered that the decaf bean, when freshly ground, is very charged with static electricity, compared to the freshly ground regular Espresso bean. Can someone explain why this might be the case? Nevertheless, Espresso Roast is such a delight -- decaf or regular!

Rich Espresso Flavor: Good for cappuccino, latte or cuppa

Nice crema, good flavor, no acidity (flavor) Would like these even better if they were priced a little closer to Keurig K-cups. As headline indicates, I use these pods in a variety of ways, depending on mood. I have a frother (not Starbuck's which doesn't seem to have gotten such great reviews)so cappuccino is one choice. But I usually brew 5-7 ounces and add a little half and half. Really quite good; for me, better than any K-cups I've tried.

I make a mistake.

I am new to the pods. I could not use them in my machine. I was able to exchange the unused boxes later in the week which was very nice. I really wanted expresso flavored pods because its my fav flavor. I was disappointed that I could not get it in full size pods like the coffee bean version.

My new favorite coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee is so delicious. It has a rich coffee/espresso flavor, I only needed a touch of cream and sugar. I also tried it black and fell in love with the rich flavor. I have already purchased more and the price is decent. Would also love to try this as whole bean.

These Beans Are The Real Deal!!!

I bought these beans on-line as I did not even know Sam's Club carried them. Apparently they are not carried in our club. I just ground up enough for three doubles and let me tell you this is the real deal when it comes to espresso coffee. Full bodied, not bitter an very dark in color. If you are looking for real espresso coffee taste, these are for you!

not for me

As an espresso drinker and spending much time in Italy I find this to be a totally American roast. Bold and like drinking campfire smoke. a bit on the bitter side for me. espresso is not a roast but the method of extraction. Any roast can be used for espresso. all in what you like. If you like it than go for it. takes a lot of steamed milk to tame it down. too much on the French roast level for me. works well for a French press or pour over. cowboy coffee for sure.

My go to espresso

I use this in my verisimo, using the coffee button. It's my morning wake up. Often times you don't offer other espresso's online or even in stores. I wish you would have more options when it comes to espresso. I drink this 2 - 5 times a day depending on my schedule at home.

Great coffee. Slow shipping. Close to expiration date.

Coffee is great as always. Shipping was extremely slow. I guess if it is free, they don't care how they send it. Also, ordered in February 2017 and the expiration date was for April 2017. very disappointing. Yea, I know coffee stays fresh for a long while later past the expiration date - it's just the principal.
