Starbucks Whole Bean Coffee, Espresso Roast Dark, 40 oz.

It has a kick

Switched from Sbux to an at home espresso maker, typically use Intelligensia Black Cat.  I saw the price was so much cheaper with this Starbucks espresso roast.  Oh dear god, what a mistake! It was so bad, I just gave up coffee until my husband finally finished it.  The last of it, we just dumped out so we could have a decent latte.

Not bad, but I've honestly had better espresso.

Starbucks

Not as flavorful or robust as French roast.  It is not as strong in a regular coffee maker.

Try this coffee.

Average but bitter, does not make good crema

I bought a coffee mill to grind coffee fresh

They sent ground instead of whole bean

The coffee contains far too much fine powder instead of actual beans, which affects both quality and taste. I did not expect this level of inconsistency from Starbucks.

Did not expect

I make lattes with shots of espresso a couple of times a day and this is my favorite espresso bean. I've tried other brands but this is the best. I was disappointed when Sam's stopped carrying it in the club and it could only be purchased online. I was excited to see it back in the club again! I hope you will continue keeping it stocked for your members.
