[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Multiple family members tried the #freesample of Starbucks espresso roast ground coffee both in its own and in a mocha-style flavor combination. Everyone enjoyed the robust taste. My spouse has an espresso maker and says the grounds are not fine enough for the machine. We’d only brew in a regular coffee maker.

I thought the pods would fit any machine. Oops! Won't work with my brand new Anniversary Gift Kuerig machine. Bummer! Oh well unless Starbucks creates a universal espresso roast pod that will work with this brand machine, I'll be forced to purchase their coffee pods in the future. Geez come on Starbucks give in a little.

I recently purchased a burr grinder so this is my first time buying the whole beans instead of grind. I really like Starbucks Espresso. I've never been much of a coffee drinker but give me a latte on a cold day and I'm a happy camper! Freashy ground sure does taste good!

i LOVE espresso roast from starbucks; i drink it every morning, but i make it in either a french press or drip maker(depends how much time i have, being i am ocd about cleaning up the filter right after). my other two favorites are french roast and italian

Recently bought in a local convenience store (basically lack of alternative in the current crisis, only whole bean coffee in the shop). Couldn't go though more than a 1/4 before I binned it. Needed to clean my mill as the smell and taste stuck... Absolutely and shockingly terrible. It made me feel sick. Poor coffee quality covered by over roasting the beans. Very dissapointed.

My husband and I have polar opposite taste buds and we have argued about coffee for 11 years! I b ought this to make myself espresso at home and thought nothing of it. One morning my husband ran out of his usual junk coffee and used mine! At first I was angry! But when he replenished my stock and told me he liked it i was in heaven!! Now I dont have to make two different pots of coffee ever again! And this is the best roast around hands down!! We will be happily coffeed after from now on!!

I use this in my verisimo, using the coffee button. It's my morning wake up. Often times you don't offer other espresso's online or even in stores. I wish you would have more options when it comes to espresso. I drink this 2 - 5 times a day depending on my schedule at home.

I love my Verissimo system and use the Espresso pods frequently. I ordered a large pack during a promotional offer so I could get the savings. However, when I received the product, it expires in February, which only gives me 2 months to get through all of it. It would be helpful if the expiration date was called out in the product details, as my savings may be lost if the product goes bad before it can all be used.

It was in all a great cup of coffee made at home. Would Recommend for anyone who likes a darker more bitter coffee. BEST #freesample EVER

We are a household that loves a rich, dark roast to wake us up each morning, and this makes a serious cup to help get you going. It has hints of molasses and caramelized sugar, and I found that I only needed one packet of Stevia with a splash of cream to create my daily fuel. I normally make a sweeter drink, but I found with the sweet notes I didn't need to add much. I already love the Starbucks brand, and this ground coffee variety will definitely be a staple for our mornings. #ad #freesample
