Espresso Roast is just the right balance of flavors. The carmel, smokey taste is bold yet does not have any bite to it. I add milk to mine to try copying a Starbuck Latte plain. I wish Starbuck would sell in K-cups the espresso and milk --Latte set as they do in their coffee maker cups..

I received a #freesample and used it in my espresso machine and the smell was amazing. The taste of the coffee was bold and smooth with no bitterness. The robust flavor had just the right amount of smoky sweetness.

While I am not a coffee lover, a shot of Starbucks Espresso relieves my Migraines when I have them. Given my use of the product I have little interest in the flavor, etc. although when drunk straight it does seem a bit bitter or astringent in comparison to 100% Kona, which does not produce the same pain relief.

I love SB espresso blend! It's strong but NOT bitter. I love strong but it is hard to find a strong coffee that isn't bitter. I use to buy the beans for my coffee maker but now have the Verisimo so I buy the pods. I make the coffee size and add 2%milk (not a big fan of the milk pods). I actually think it's as good as the stores' latte!

Been using this ever since I purchased my Breville semi-automatic. It is consistent and holds up well over ice and as cappuccino or latte base. I do wish Starbucks would create something like Lavazza Super Crema which is a little less bold and gives a good crema.

Love Starbucks Coffee and always buy it at the grocery store. Sometimes we run out (awful!) and I hoped the website would offer a fulfillment type service so coffee would be shipped to me on a monthly basis. I did not see this. If you offer it, it is not clear. Instead, just single orders and the price is more expensive than the grocery. Booooo! Contact me when you get a fulfillment service up and running. I am shocked this is not already offered.
