With notes of dark caramel and sweet smoke, it is a masterpiece. Made with muti-blend beans, hailing from Asia/Pacific, and Latin America, it offers a big bold taste with consistenty and quality. I have found that it is the easiest on my stomach acid as compared to other coffees, and I will continue to purchase. #freesample

It is the darkest of the dark of coffees, but also has a smoky delicious flavor with it so it is not bitter. I always add creams and sugars to my coffees, but this one goes super well with Vanilla-Caramel creamer! #FreeSample

I am so unhappy with Sam's Club as they have stopped carrying Starbucks French Roast Coffee 40 oz. in their warehouses. I have been drinking this for 24 years and purchasied it at a major competitor for 16 years before they discontinued it and then I joined Sam's Club and purchased it here until they recently discontinued it without a word. As they continue to drop major items from their inventory I have found less motivation to shop there and just discontinued my membership. If Starbucks French Roast Ground Coffee comes back, then so do I.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't normally drink dark coffee but this one seemed different. It wasn't bitter at all. While dark is not my favorite I did find that I liked this one. I usually pass when someone says all they have is dark but if this one is on the menu I would definitely give it a yes.

I love Sam’s club they carry my Starbucks brand coffee for a very reasonable price. Shipping is way too high for 1 item though. Last time I ended up paying almost 30$ to get 1 bag of Starbucks delivered to me. But u needed it for my company I’d had coming over so I paid it.

New package already! Lits of time the packaging supposedly vaccum sealed/packed, but i get them already slightly open or no longer vaccum seal. The coffee grind is still Starbuck dark roast quality, but loosing the vaccum seal doesn't allow me to keep the package for long

I buy this for my son and he loves this coffee! The ease of ordering online and not having to go into the store at this time, during the Covid outbreak is a big plus. The products I order are always delivered in a timely fashion and have never arrived damaged or late. This is a great feature of being a Sam’s Club member!

It’s good coffee (for pre-ground). I bought this coffee because, for some reason, Sam’s is not longer selling Starbucks “Whole Bean” coffee. I don’t know who made that decision (Sam’s or Starbucks), but it wasn’t a good one. Flavor and aroma are good, but not great. There’s not a lot of complexity in the flavor.
