If you love a rich coffee then you will love this. It’s one of my favorites for sure.. I would definitely recommend Starbucks dark roast.

I enjoy dark roast. I was pleased to find this particular one at Sam's Club and for a good price.

Why would this coffee be discontinued? I will not renew my membership now that they have discontinued the main reason for my shopping there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bold, smokey and sweet, this Starbucks French Roast has all my favorite attributes. It packs a punch of flavor without being too heavy. It is smooth and gives hints of caramel in each sip. I would recommend and purchase again.

My favorite coffee was this in Whole Bean - but they stopped carrying it - now ground came back, but Definitely not the same. Please Sams, bring whole bean back!

A rich smoky flavor that brings me back to my youth when sitting around my grandfather while he was smoking his pipe.

I buy dark roast almost exclusively and usually French Roast, but Starbucks signature flavor seems to be burnt beans, this purchase just seemed to be a little more well done and bitter.

Great coffee but, it goes on sale and, is immediately out of stock. Curious!!

I give the company a one star rating for no longer carrying this great coffee.
