Starbucks, please! I have been drinking this coffee for 30 years! It is the best coffee I have ever had. It is the only coffee I will drink. I bring it with me wherever I go if I'm not sure there will be some when I get wherever i'm going. PLEASE reconsider your plan to discontinue this delicious roast.

This is very expensive coffee but truly an excellent brew. I like this much better than the brand that came with my coffee maker. The K cup maker is fine for this coffee. I may purchase this again as soon as I get rid of my "over supply" of various blends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not the usual Starbuck product user but I like a dark roast coffee. I used the Starbuck French roast in my espresso machine, and then I made a pot with my regular filtered coffee maker. The flavor turned to be quite different. In my humble opinion, this makes an affordable good espresso, which keeps the delicate caramelized & sweet, aromatic taste that resembles the taste of black licorice. The aroma is very delicate and won't leave you with the bad aftertaste that many ground coffee has. I won't trade the current brand I have been using, but I will consider SBUX French Roast if I ever need a second option.

Why would you discontinue your darkest, richest coffee?? I'm beyond upset. I too have been getting Clover-brewed FR for years and now I'm being told it's discontinued??? If you want to discontinue something make it something people don't love like we love our FR.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These work well with my unit. No issues. The flavor is great and fresh and bold tasting. The are super easy to use. We are avid coffee drinkers in our house hold so a good cup of Joe in the morning is a must.

French Roast is very tasty. The smell that meets your nose from the second you open the bag is awesome. I love the bold, smoky notes. This blend is nice for me because I dislike fruity/tangy coffees. The only downside is it can be a little hard on the stomach, but I'd still recommend it.

I received this coffee as a gift and have brewed it in a drip and an aero press. The drip is awful. I’ve done the aero press with different ratios of water to coffee and different immersion times but cannot brew a cup that doesn’t have a horrible and lingering aftertaste. I know coffee can be bitter, but this is just acrid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quickly became one of my favorite French Dark Roast coffee. The quality is second to none. Very delicious, rich and fairly strong. Amazing flavor and rich smell. This don't last too long in my household. I highly recommend.

I'm agreeing with all other protesting comments in regards to my precious French Roast..whole beans!!! Why?? Why would you discontinue an obvious favorite of so many? I too have bought at LEAST 1 1lb bag weekly since 1997! I think you should reconsider Starbuck's!
