I grind this on #3 at the store and brew it every morning in my Krupps cone bottom drip machine. I can't find any other coffee that comes close to the intensity of Starbuck's French Roast. It's so intense they've dropped it from the stores in Europe, I have to get colleagues to bring it in from the U.S.

I was first introduced to Starbucks with their Christmas blend! I loved it, but it was seasonal. I went to the Verona blend and was satisfied with the flavor. I just tried the French Roast - and it is my favorite of all! Flavorful and not bitter. This will be my coffee from now on!

I'm agreeing with all other protesting comments in regards to my precious French Roast..whole beans!!! Why?? Why would you discontinue an obvious favorite of so many? I too have bought at LEAST 1 1lb bag weekly since 1997! I think you should reconsider Starbuck's!

My husband and I love Starbucks French Roast coffee. After grinding each day the aroma fills the kitchen with such a pleasant smell, and it is by far our favorite coffee. It has a bold, rich flavor with no bitterness. At Christmas we will get the Christmas blend to try, but the French Roast is our all year favorite.

Leaves a nice crema on top of each cup. Only K-Cup that does that and I have tried many brands and styles. Taste like strong coffee should. Crema is a flavorful, aromatic, reddish-brown froth made when air bubbles combine with fine-ground coffee's soluble oils. The strong presence of crema indicates a quality, well-ground coffee and a skilled barista (professional coffee maker). Crema helps give a fuller flavor, longer aftertaste than drip coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who doesn’t love Starbucks??? I have nothing bad to say about this coffee and that’s why I gave it four stars. I drink 2-3 cups per day and my spouse drinks double that. So the coffee pot of going a lot. I always buy Starbucks for the quality of the taste and for the delicious smell of it. I love that dark strong smell in the morning. This brand smells as strong as it tastes. I use filtered water in the coffee reserve for the best tasting coffee.

This coffee is strong, just the way I like it. And it's fresh and the smell of that coffee brewing in the morning, just sets the mood of a good weekend about to start. I don't put too much so I can control the strength just the way I like it. Top quality so far!

Me and my Wife love the taste and Aroma. esp. after grinding are own it makes the whole house smell good. the Taste is just right and No After Taste like you get from store Brands. I also bought this when they offered by 3 get 1 free. I did not make it 4 I ordered 3 figuring they would Automatically put the 4th in. I called talk to a very helpful Lady and magically my 4th was here days later Thank You.
