The flavors are strong, overwhelming even, so you might have to use less coffee grounds per serving. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the chance to try the Starbucks French Roast as a #freesample and it was absolutely delicious. It is one of the best French roast coffees that I have tried in a ground form. You can taste all of the notes of caramel and smoke, and you can just tell that the coffee is sourced from wonderful coffee beans. I think of the different Starbucks ground coffees that I’ve tried in the past this one is definitely my favorite. It had been a while since I had purchased this one and when I drank it again, I was kind of disappointed with myself that it had been such a while since I’ve had it because it’s just so good. And I’m someone that adds creamer to their coffee and even with the creamer, you still can taste the bold and richness of the coffee and that’s another reason why I love it.

I can't believe such a major company could make such a blunder by discontinuing the ONLY coffee you carried that was worth buying. I just tried the Italian Roast (way too bitter and lacking any real flavor) and the Cafe Verona (wow - what a HORRIBLE lingering aftertaste). So, I no longer have to make the drive to any of your locations. Never minded the trip when you actually had something I 'really' wanted. A company with your kind of cash flow should be able to handle a 'sluggish' selling item (and I will 'never' believe that this brand wasn't selling.) Clueless. Period.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quickly became one of my favorite French Dark Roast coffee. The quality is second to none. Very delicious, rich and fairly strong. Amazing flavor and rich smell. This don't last too long in my household. I highly recommend.

This is my favorite Starbucks VIA flavor. I wish you would carry it in the stores so I would not have to order via the Internet. I always have one when I am feeling especially good. It really puts me in a good mood for the day. One final comment - stock in your stores!!!!! :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not usually a fan of Starbucks but this coffee was a gift. I’m so surprised! It definitely exceeded my expectations. The taste is reach and slightly fruity, not bitter as what I would normally expect from dark roasts coffee. I’m in love with this one and definitely recommend it.

This is my favorite flavor of Via and I order it each and every time. My only criticism is that I can't purchase it in bulk - with the other Via flavors, like Italian Roast, I have the ability to purchase in packages of 50, but not with French Roast.
