We use a drip coffee maker with a side single cup maker. Verona is equally good in either. Bold, smooth, no hint of off flavors and a touch of chocolate. We keep coming back after trying cheaper brands. It IS expensive but we can't seem to find any equivalent in the dark roasts at our local stores or from craft roasters. I'm addicted.

I much prefer espresso & can't wait to get mine. I bought the Caffe Verona Pods while I wait. It's pretty good, but I can't get the caffine boost I want with it, I'd have to drink too much & I can only handle 4 pods of the Verona but 6 pods of the espresso! Bigger boost for really tired people with the espresso.

I've always been a Starbucks fan, I tried Komodo Dragon, Sumatra, Italian Roast and Pikes coffee and all were great! One day, I'd went and got Cafe Verona, Similar to Morning Joe's, I notice a soothing, strong, sweet smell when brewing, when I took my first sip of it, omg, I notice a rich, impressive taste, especially on my tongue, the second and third sip, I tasted a sweetness of chocolate in my mouth, kinda makes you Thirsty for water, its a very intense, bold and very good, yummy coffee, definitely love it, the best they have, I suggest drinking it with your breakfast, or a piece of pie, definitely buy again!!!

Starbucks changed the pods recently. The label design and plastic cup have changed. These pod change and any other changes they made are causing the water flow during brew to slow significantly. However, coffee volume and taste seems to be consistent with coffee from previous pods.

I've tried to enjoy this coffee over the years, but has this nasty after taste of burnt. Never understood why Starbucks burns their roasts. Maybe to hide the cheap robusto beans in the blends....If I'm forced to drink it, I will. But at least it isn't Pike's Place. That to me is an over priced version of Maxwell House.

Cafe Verona is my EVERYDAY ALL DAY coffee... It is the first thing I have in the morning and sometimes the last thing I have at night.. The bold smooth taste is very clean and sultry... No acidity as it leaves no "aftertaste" . When first opening the bag and smelling the wonderful aroma of Cafe Verona its like being transported back in time to lovely days and nights of romance... I LOVE CAFE VERONA!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed these Starbucks Caffè Verona K cups. The coffee was delicious. I like that the flavor is strong but still it was very smooth and not bitter. I will definitely bring buying more of these K cups.

I like coffee that is very dark and extremely strong, but still smooth, so I get the Caffe Verona ground Turkish style and brew it in a ceramic cone filter. I like other blends, particularly some of the dark seasonals, but I always always come back to the Turkish ground Verona because it is so smooth, rich and delicious. I've yet to find its equal.
