I make a 7-8 ounce brew and add a half ounce of half-and-half. I also enjoy brewing espresso pods in roughly this size, but this gives me a slightly less intense but very satisfying flavor with good body-- and an especially good aftertaste. This is a bit more expensive per cup than Keurig, and I'd like to see the cost 20% cheaper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I prefer a stronger, darker roast. most starbucks people probably get medium/light roast and thats fine, but i prefer this one. It's got a kick. and a subtle dark chocolate note. Not bitter. just right for me. will drink again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starbucks Verona kcups are very simple to make. Just pop into the kcup machine and add some cream and sugar if you want it sweeter. This flavor is a dark roast so it has a bit of a burnt taste to it with some slight taste of cocoa and caramelized sugar. I would say this is a smooth coffee. Makes a great morning cup of Joe.

It's got a sweet start and a cocoa finish. The roast makes it much more richer than a regular cup and It's very good. Creamy if you add half n half with a cocoa taste, well worth the $$ I've been drinking this roast for a couple of years and it's my favorite out of the Dark roasts.

This is definitely my new favorite...I have never been a fan of anything dark roast because I thought it tasted bitter and I always had to add alot of sugar, not this one, I love it... still add some sugar but I absolutely love the flavor..

My husband and I are coffee snobs! Our burr coffee grinder is the most used kitchen appliance in the house. We love a rich and bold cup of coffee. Verona, Gold Coast and Komodo Dragon are our Starbucks favorites (in that order). The beans are slightly oily with a deep color, and produce a smooth cup of coffee with no bitterness. Highly recommend.

My name is "X", I am just like you. I/we enjoy a good cup of coffee whenever we want. I enjoy the subscription service, coffee delivered to my home every week. I make 8 cups in the morning, drink two before leaving for work, drink another two on the way in, and the other four are in a thermos, where it stays hot, ready to drink during the day. I will usually make another four cups for after work and dinner.
