I can not start my day without my STARBUCKS COFFEE. Pike Place is a rich and delicious coffee that I enjoy with just regular half and half creamer. This is a GREAT price for this size bag. It is in stock every time I order it online which I appreciate.

Like others mentioned in their comments, I also think this blend has gone through an awful change over the past year or two. I drink pike place every day, and for awhile I would get a good bag then a bad bag almost 50% of the time. The bad bags would have a high pitch bitter taste that replaced the smooth even flavor and aftertaste I liked. Now its almost every bag I get. I'd really like to know what's going on. I've already switched to another brand, but if they fix their quality control issue I would love to switch back.

The coffee is OK. The pods are small and you only get about 5 ounces of coffee per pod. So you use two pods to get a decent size cup. Plus, the pods are more expensive than the other brand and the selection is very limited - to ONLY Starbucks products and few of those. Wish I had done more defensive shopping.

I had two samples of Pike Place within a gift basket. I finally tried them yesterday, and it was wonderful! The coffee is VERY smooth, no bitterness. I added a touch of vanilla soy milk to the first cup, and a touch of almond milk to my second cup. They were both delicious! No sugar needed! This easily has become one of my favorite coffees.

Pike Place Ready Brew is delicious, fast, and surprised all of us by placing first in our taste test that included brewed coffee. I am a coffee snob and brew with "the highest rated coffee maker and always use its special bean cutter". Now I drink the Ready Brew Pikes Peak. Takes me 30 seconds to add hot water. Love the taste. Its my cheapest luxury. Ahhhhh.

I use this coffee every morning in my automatic coffee maker. It smells wonderful while brewing, I can hardly wait for it all to brew! I save several cups at home, and then I take the remainder to work with me in a Starbucks coffee tumbler. Would recommend to family and friends.

I grew up in ships where 8 and 10 cups of coffee a day was the norm. What else was there to do crossing the Winter North Atlantic then wedge yourself into a corner of the bridge with a fresh cup of brew. The brew back then was something out of a #10 can and had a marketing slogan like "good to the last drop." What did we know? Later, I lived in Hawai'i and coffee from the Big Island's Kona Coast became something of an obsession. Very deserving living in Paradise. Now, when I travel the world -- no longer in ships -- I find it downright comforting to taste the same Pike Place brew whether it's on the Circular Quay in Sydney or at terminal whatever at London's Heathrow or on a sidewalk in Tokyo. Ray Kroc was right, but he wasn't thinking coffee beans. Here's to Starbucks and one great tasting Pike Place brew!

Pike used to be by far the best coffee we brewed at home. Something changed a few months ago. Looking at other reviews and glad to see we aren't imagining this. So disappointed!! Wont be buying any more of this unless they change it back to how it used to be.
