So when can we expect Sumatra Decaf whole beans back in the stores. I have been drinking this coffee for a decade, decaf by doctor's orders. Much to my surprise I have been told the company has discontinued. I bought all that was available in my community and am now nearly out. Would really like to see it back.

I have tasted hundreds of different coffee brands/blends in my lifetime, I have very sensitive tastes and Sumatra is in a league of its own. I have converted cream and sugar coffee drinkers, to plain black coffee drinkers, after serving them a strong cup of Sumatra for the first time. I recently introduced my own 53 year old mother to the blend and now I am frequently buying her Sumatra K-Cup pods to drink at work. I make mine strong at 1 scoop, per 1 cup of water and it makes a cup of coffee that is difficult to put into words but which can keep the spirits up during long overtime shifts and during late night board game sessions with family.

The flavor is good, same as always. However, I am disappointed that the packaging is not at all what it looked like on the website. You see, I bought this coffee beans online partially because I liked the design of the package, but what I got was the old version (white background with some purple design on it). And this made me feel I was lied to about the product. The flavor was good tho.

I drink this daily, K-pod or brewed. Both are delicious but a slight different taste. It may be the water that I use or the measurement of coffee I use to brew. I still love it either way. I do use a vanilla caramel creamer and sugar that makes it like a decadent Coffee House treat.

This is the best tasting coffee I have ever bought . I do recommend I Enjoy a good cup of coffee very bold . This is my favorite Starbucks coffee. I really love the richness of the taste without being acidic. Other coffees can make my heartburn flare up painfully after one cup, but I can drink this blend all day without any problems. I highly recommend this coffee!

I loved the Komodo Dragon, so my next move could only be Sumatra. Sumatra is much more earthy than the Komodo, which may be an acquired taste for some people. If you prefer crisper, lighter flavors, you may not care for Sumatra. But for those who like a bold brew with a bit more body, Sumatra's a good place to start. I'd especially recommend it if you enjoyed Komodo Dragon or this year's Anniversary Blend, as they share many of the same elements and boldness.

I was very excited when these became available. Sumatra is one of my favorite roasts. So, naturally, I ordered 2 boxes. Unnaturally, they taste NOTHING like whole bean Sumatra. If you like Sumatra, stay away from these pods. Can't say much else. Extremely disappointed. Hopefully Starbucks will made Gold Coast and/or French Roast pods without ruining them too.

While this isn't my absolute favorite it's certainly one of the top three. I stick with the bold flavors and a french press....can't be beat! Awesome morning blend. Will certainly buy again! I just discovered the french press, ten times better than filter brewing....no paper taste, just pure coffee! Thanx Starbucks! Should add another category to "Which Starbucks drink best describes your personality?" Definitely a "Black Eye" ;)
