Just what we were looking for! My wife and I love the bold taste of a Sumatra coffee and, over the years, we have tried a lot of brands...This Starbucks Sumatra was by far the BEST of all we tried. Yes, it seemed a bit pricy, but for a couple of bucks more it is a GREAT reward in flavor.

I have had a Keurig for many years. I usually grind my own coffee and use an Ekobrew Cup as most K-cups produce a very poor brew. I took a chance and tried the Sumatra. Fabulous! If you like Starbucks Sumatra you will like the K-cup as a quick way to get that big bold deep complex taste. I like my coffee BOLD so I usually use the 6oz cup setting, however I experimented with the 8 and 10oz settings and Sumatra held up well.

Got the coffee as a gift had never tried it and we'll I found it full of flavor a coffee that easily mixed well with cream and sugar and yet still remained it's true self I'm impressed and it made me feel happy inside so thank you for making this coffee ☕☺️

Previous to this order, I ordered sumatra decaf whole bean. The beans were very dark as I expected. When I got my order of reg sumatra whole beans, the beans were light colored, tan. When I brew I do half decaf, half reg. I noticed the coffe was lighter. What is wrong?

Bag contained way too much non-bean debris. Not only does this add to weight but more importantly, degrades the coffee taste. It seems that this is a new issue with these newly designed bags. I liked the old graphics much better than the new generic looking ones. Oh, the coffee itself was fine, but cannot compete with locally roasted beans. So much more flavor.

This coffee is one of our favorites. My husband drinks a pot of this everyday. I recently became a decaf drinker and the Sumatra decaf is absolutely wonderful. So whether you like it bold and caffinated or bold and decafed, you can't go wrong with this coffee!

I have had Starbucks Sumatra in K-cups and it is just as good as brewing it in a drip brew machine. That being said, I don't indulge in the K-cup concept because the price per cup compared to brewing a full pot is ridiculous. Since between myself and my wife we easily go through a full pot every morning we would go broke buying this. BUT if you are a 1 or 2 cup a day person this would make sense so that you get that "fresh brewed" essence in every cup. I wish Sam's would have this in the bagged coffees instead of (or in addition to - maybe as "online only"?) so until then I will remain a customer of that other site - the one named for a river....

The first task in the morning is to brew a pot of Sumatra. We grind the beans fresh for each pot to ensure our coffee is full-bodied and perfect every time. We have always enjoyed a dark-roasted brew with a earthy aroma and Sumatra definitely provides that. Being retired, we often have a cup or two before breakfast while we are catching-up on the weather. Then we share another cup with breakfast. It's our way for starting a day.

It smells good and tastes smooth and not as bitter as other types. I am not a big fan of dark roasts but this one was okay for my taste. I prefer a mild or medium roast so the rest of the bag will be used by my hubby who likes strong coffee, and he really liked the Sumatra.
