[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dark roast smooth tasting coffee with great flavors. The flavor is a little smoky but it isn’t bitter.

This is the Best coffee I have ever tasted. I've been drinking coffee for most of my 71 years, and this Sumatra blend is so smooth, no sweetener is needed.

I use this as my morning wake-up and it works like a charm. The taste is pleasant, the kick is strong, and most importantly of all for me... no bitter aftertaste. Bravo Starbucks. Bravo.

This is a great dark roast coffee bean. We have been drinking Sumatra for years now and think it is the best of the bunch in the dark roast category. Never bitter, always smooth and full flavor; the aroma is pure strong coffee aroma.

Coffee itself is good. But the individual boxes were damaged. One box even opened. The shipping container wasn't damaged at all, that means they shipped the damaged boxes to me without quality control. Disappointed

Excellent coffee. Dark roast with a spicy/woody/earthy taste. Not acidic at all, which allows the other flavors to come out. Would call it a medium caffeine wise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not the biggest fan of the Starbucks Sumatra Ground Coffee. I found it to be very burnt tasting. It also left the order of car urine after brewing and pouring. #ad

I love bold coffees and enjoy 3 to 4 cups a day. The Starbucks Sumatra is a consistently bold but smooth coffee. The taste is crisp and clean with no hints of bitterness. The coffee smells good before and after it is brewed.
