This glorious coffee hasn't been available in England for years but fortunately I have family who like to holiday in the USA so can get the occasional bag. I love the rich flavour and the mouthfeel. Practically perfect in every way. The only downside is the way that, like all dark roasts, static makes such a mess when grinding.

The ground coffee, Starbucks ground french, has lost is it rich flavor. Tastes, well has no taste other than a cardboard taste weak taste, even when made stronger. Use to have a distinctive rich smell and taste, full body not water down, I know you will say nothing has changed, but it truly has. It has lost it uniqueness.

It isnt hard on my stomach like other strong blends I have tried not to mention it smells amazing. I also love how it comes in the individual cans makes it faster so you're not waiting.for.a whole pot.to brew and I'm not wasting so much

The French Roast is the blend that my daugther likes best, she was very pleased. She enjoyes the fresh full flavor of this blend and the fact that it was beans she received allows her to have it fresh ground when she wants it. It was a total success.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a darker coffee and Starbucks seems to be the brand that does it best. The French roast is a rich and darker blend that really brings out some pop with the flavor. I have a k cup every morning and it always does the trick. I tend to mix it with only a small bit of creamer because I like my coffee strong and this French roast is just perfect for it.

If you want a delicious rich blend at a great price try the French Roast. Although I often change to Breakfast blend or Italian Roast I love the deep, rich complex flavors of French Roast. The beans grind very well releasing notes of chocolate with a slight sweet finish.
