[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that these are in half pot servings. Your coffee is always fresh and you don't have to worry about making it to strong. The cans are easy to open and stack nicely so you don't have to use a ton of space to store them. I have really enjoyed the convenience of these.

This is one of the two coffees my husband uses along with Espresso Roast (yes, at the same time). He likes really strong coffee and then flavors it with cocoa, heavy cream and caramel. He is very set in his ways and I was able to switch him to Starbucks brand coffee beans, no problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time we tried this particular roast, it was very strong. We had to put about 1/4 the amount it called for. If you like strong coffee then this is for you. We did like the individual cans. They made it very convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes you need a Starbucks fix in a pinch and the SBUX KCups do the trick. As with all KCups it's super quick and convenient. The SBUX french roast is by far the best of the options available in my office.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Starbucks French roast kcup is one of the best pod coffees I have tried. The flavor is deep and rich and the smell it puts out when brewing is very exciting. It also makes a very strong cup of coffee.

Absolutely my favorite VIA ~ Bold, strong & real coffee! Simply delicious without any bitterness ... The French know how to make great coffee! ;) Hopefully, during this lovely, snowy Wintertime ~ SB's will come to their senses and Restore their Delicious Original VIA ~ without any fake milk powder EVER again! Those VIA Lattes (back in the day) could not be beat - anywhere!! Peace.

I'm a definite Starbucks fan... & typically treat myself to a 'bold' coffee weekly. So decided to try the French Roast, but was more accustomed to a more 'smoooother' taste from other French Roast brands as comparison. Good for now & then...but a tad bitter than most French Roasts.

For years I’ve been drinking the dark roast (intense & Smokey) I absolutely loved the flavor. But now it seems as I received my quarterly box of 96 they did send French roast but it’s (notes of dark caramel & sweet smoke) not even close to the strong and bitterness of what I’m use to. So before ordering double check the order for the site says one description of flavor but the actual is something different

This is a deliciously intense blend. Bold and smoky. I prefer a grind on the fine side of medium and fresh ground every cup. Definitely best to use a French Press with water around 200 degrees and brew 3 minutes before depressing the plunder and pouring. I prefer to use 3 tablespoons per 10 ounces. I have found that this brewing method yields a perfect cup of Starbucks French Roast with zero bitterness. Once again, delicious blend and perfect roasting. Keep up the great work Starbucks.

I can't believe such a major company could make such a blunder by discontinuing the ONLY coffee you carried that was worth buying. I just tried the Italian Roast (way too bitter and lacking any real flavor) and the Cafe Verona (wow - what a HORRIBLE lingering aftertaste). So, I no longer have to make the drive to any of your locations. Never minded the trip when you actually had something I 'really' wanted. A company with your kind of cash flow should be able to handle a 'sluggish' selling item (and I will 'never' believe that this brand wasn't selling.) Clueless. Period.
