[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee is way better than what you get at a Starbucks. I used my french press and it made wonderful cups of coffee. When you open the package you smell the wonderful aroma of fresh coffee. I highly recommend this coffee and I would definitely purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wowza, Starbucks has outdone itself. These adorable little airtight cans of wonderful smelling dark coffee are amazing! It says the can makes 1/2 a pot. Well, I used the coffee in my single serve maker. One can made 4 cups for me. The coffee was thick, rich and so delicious! I love the tiny bit of residue that seeps through giving the coffee an even more deep and intense flavor. The grounds are that fine! If you love dark coffee, you should definitely give this a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the richest, darkest coffees I have ever tasted. It brews surprisingly smooth and goes down easily, and the sweet smokiness was generally very warming and balanced. However, in nearly every cup brewed, there would be a few sips that were overly smoky, almost burnt tasting, no matter how well it was stirred. It tastes good by itself, but add a little creamer or milk and it becomes a delightfully dark and cozy brew that packs a caffeine punch.

I love dark coffees, and this one is perfect. It has a great aroma and taste when warm/hot. This one isn't as good at room temperature as the other VIA coffees, it almost seems too diluted. (I sometimes just mix in a water bottle versus hot water, and the other VIA coffees are great that way).

This is my favorite Starbucks VIA flavor. I wish you would carry it in the stores so I would not have to order via the Internet. I always have one when I am feeling especially good. It really puts me in a good mood for the day. One final comment - stock in your stores!!!!! :-)

I'm agreeing with all other protesting comments in regards to my precious French Roast..whole beans!!! Why?? Why would you discontinue an obvious favorite of so many? I too have bought at LEAST 1 1lb bag weekly since 1997! I think you should reconsider Starbuck's!

I've never been a big fan of Starbucks espresso, so I was completely surprised and delighted when I tried their coffee and found it to be absolutely delicious! Both the French Roast and Caffe Verona are bold and extremely flavorful without being bitter. I don't know that I've ever had such great-tasting coffee! I originally purchased these blends for the office but both the French Roast and Caffe Verona now have a permanent place in my kitchen at home.

I love the Starbucks French Roast coffee. I buy the beans and grind them myself. I love the rich coffee, almost chocolate flavor of the brew. I'm never without Starbucks French Roast at my home. If you love flavorful coffee, give this a try. You will never go back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starbucks coffee is delicious and never disappoints. I really enjoy this French ground roast and drink it quite regularly. It is a darker roast but smooth. It really gives the pick me up that I need before starting my work day. I know this is not common for coffee products to do, but including a scoop would be great that goes along with the instructions. Just a thought. Otherwise I personally love Starbucks coffee and am never disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves this coffee! It tastes great plus it's premeasured so all he has to do in the morning is open a can and dump it in the coffee pot. No more trying to scoop coffee half asleep, just pop a can open and dump it
