My dog had knee surgery; she is 6 1/2 yrs old. 4 wks after her surgery, I started her on Cosequin Maximum Strength Chew tablets. Her 8 wk post-op appt was great. The Doc was impressed with how well she was doing and said she was doing great. I am not sure if these tablets helped or not, but they didn't hurt and she absolutely loves them. She thinks they are treats and gets so excited every time she hears me grab the COSEQUIN bottle. She has been taking these tablets (treats as she thinks they are) for 2 months now, and I will keep giving them to her.

I bought this through the club because it was way more cheaper and double the amount of tablets than in the regular stores and the vet had recommended it for my Great Pyrenees who had a previous broken hip many years ago and had begun to show signs of hip pain. It has taken about 2 months of use too show a significant improvement but then all of a sudden he was no longer limping and then he went to jumping around like he did about a year or so ago.

Great price for a large supply. I give this to my senior girl (11 yr old mutt who weighs about 60lbs) religiously and I have already seen positive changes in her energy and ability to keep up with her two younger pup siblings (1 yr old GSD-97 lbs and 8.5 month Cane Corso-90lbs). I will be starting my younger pups on this supplement if recommended by my vet. No joint pain or issues for my fur babies!

My sweet 8 year old rescue had developed a bad limp on his right front leg. The vet recommended I start him on Carprofen and filled a script for that. When I looked it up online before giving it to him I realized that it was generic for Rimadyl. No way I was giving him that as we almost lost our beloved Husky because of Rimadyl. So, I'd seen the ads for Cosequin and read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I was worried my dog wouldn't eat them because he's pretty picky, but he seemed to like them just fine. I gave them to him faithfully and for the first three and half weeks, no change. I kept giving them to him and then a few days later, so, almost a month, I noticed he'd stopped limping! It's been three weeks now and still, no limp! And he had had a very pronounced limp! So, needless to mention, I'm a fan. Our boy is ready to go on walks and doesn't want to turn back early any more. So, my recommendation would be to try these and just don't give up if you don't see results in the first couple of weeks. We'll stay on these for sure! This is a good price as well...$36 for six months. That's a bargain!

Our 8-year old Retriever started having joint issues and was actually limping after running or going for a walk. I decided to try Cosequin, not really expecting it to make a difference, but within about a month her limping was completely resolved! She can now stand her long, vigorous walks again. This product is really expensive (which is why I was reluctant to try it) but worth it if you really love your pet like we all do. Definitely recommend!

After my GSD was diagnosed with hind knees problems, my Vet recommended to add Cosequin with the prescriptions that he had written. Last month I had forgotten to pick up some more, so Kaci went a few days without. Huge mistake! She's now back to being able to walk again & not whimpering due to pain.
