Ok, but not great.

This model is great at first. But it doesn't last long enough for the price. Mine is completely shot after 13 months. It isn't the battery this time. Instead, it has a strange vibration and doesn't have the power it had before.

Amazing dental checkup

I finally made the switch to an electric toothbrush about a month ago. I originally had the Oral-B 8000 and it was too bulky, too loud, just too much. So I exchanged it for a Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 and I've never loved brushing more! I love the three levels of intensities and that I can adjust the timing of brushing by selecting a different mode. The battery lasts me about 10 days before it starts telling me it's dying. And even then, I can use it another 4 or 5 before it's time to charge it. Today I had a dental cleaning and my hygienist kept commenting on how nice my gums look and how clean my teeth are, that there was virtually nothing in terms of tartar or plaque. I'm so glad I decided to finally up my brushing game with an electric brush.

Terrible Product

I am now on my second replacement for this product. The metal bar that connects to the toothbrush heads keeps coming loose leading to a loud and terrible experience. I used to have a Diamond Clean that randomly died after 5 years so I bought this when I was in a pinch. It has been 2 terrible years

Dependable and portable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Phillips toothbrush flew to Italy with me and cruised through 21 days of cleaning my teeth with only two charges, but never ran low. The carrying case was helpful, too, because we were always dashing off Pom some road trip. I didn't think to take its photo - overlooking Rome or perhaps Calcatta- but next time I go, I will!

Philips Hounds You For Reviews

The toothbrush itself is fine and does what it's supposed to do......clean my teeth. The seemingly relentless request from Philips for a review are unacceptable and really over the top. Why is it that I can't spend a bunch of money on a great toothbrush and just brush my teeth? Next time I may purchase with the competition.

Brush Head Lifetime

I had this toothbrush as a Christmas gift and I love it so much. I use it everyday since I got it. However, the problem happened couple days ago is when I was using it and it made loud very noisy. I also do research and I've known that I need to change the brush head every 3 months. But I've been using it only 1.5 months and got this problem. A little disappointed for this cuties toothbrush.

The product worked well BUT for 2 years only

It worked really well for the first two years. However, after that, the battery performance declined significantly. Now, my toothbrush needs to be recharged after only three days of use. Also, it's vibrating less powerfully, and the metal shaft where the brush head fits is loose. Luckily, I had six more months of extended warranty, so I got a replacement toothbrush handle. But yeah, I did have higher expectations for such an expensive toothbrush.

Better than other toothbrushes

Bought this for my 12 y.o. daughter. She loves it, and I would say it is working much better than her previous electric toothbrush, a subscription service type. During the pandemic, we didn't go to the dentist for cleaning. My daughter's teeth were getting very yellow with plaque build-up, yet I knew she was brushing, at least as well as most 12 year olds do. After the dentist got her teeth clean again I knew I had to go with something else, and she uses this now and her teeth don't have plaque build up, though her brushing habits remain the same. Plus it travels well. Plus she loves the color.

much better than original products

After using the product just once I feel like I just visited the dental hygienist. Teeth are amazingly clean. If you have an older version of this device throw it away and get one of these. It is well worth it. I used the brush with the W and they have several brush types. The unit has several modes and speeds which you get used to the more you use it. The array of replacement brushes is quite large and a little confusing but I intend to use several until I get the perfect one for me. I could however just use the W brush that came with the unit and it still would be perfect.

Acceptable, but not great

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. This is my first experience with an electric toothbrush. I found this product easy to set up and use. I appreciate how well it holds a charge, and the controls are easy to navigate. I did not like the connection between the brush head and the wand. Application of very little pressure caused the connection to be interrupted. I also would prefer a larger brush head. I believe I`ll likely go back to a standard toothbrush now that my trial period has ended. I feel like this is an acceptable electric toothbrush, but the inconveniences of the small brush head and the loose connection would keep me from recommending it to friends and family.
