Nicer and thicker than the clear plastic plates for sure, and better looking than paper/cardboard type plates. We used them for a bridal taco shower and they did not stain. You should consider them mostly disposable. I hand washed some just to see how they’d do. They’re thin hard plastic, so they will crack or break if you put more force on one side when washing and the silver outline will rub/scratch off pretty easily. If you want to reuse them, hand was very carefully and let them air dry. Even then the silver may come off in spots. I guess you could always gently rub all of the silver off when washing so they’re solid white too. That being said, if you want something basically disposable and nicer looking for an event without spending too much money, these are your best bet. As with all disposable type plates, buy more than you need in case some break prematurely. This didn’t happen in my case though. They are perfect for showers, weddings, etc. I would buy them again.

I use the plates for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They look pretty on the table with the matching plasticware. I don't have to spend all night running the dishwasher from using regular plates. I always buy an extra set because they sell fast. Holds up well to hot foods.

I have used these plates for years for parties where I am serving a casual buffet and want quick clean-up (into the trash!). They are sturdy and nice looking. I just wish that Sam’s would carry them in their store here so that I did not have to order online and pay shipping.

We use these every year at holidays to save on dish washing. We have a big family.....and with people in and out all evening, this made better sense. I have a niece (a doctor) that washes them and takes them home. She says she gets some every year for Christmas and it is one of her favorites gifts. I hope you continue to make these.

Great quality. I have always used glass for my Thanksgiving dinner but as I get older was tired of spending hours cleaning my china after preparing food for days. The time these saved was worth the work and time I got to spend with my family instead. Dressed them up with my linens and fresh flowers

These plates, although plastic, have the look and feel of expensive china. These were used for a family Valentine's Day dinner that was prepared by family members. These plates (along with other decorations) made the meal feel like an expensive restaurant. Nice job, Member's Mark...

Have used these plates for holiday family dinners the last three years. Nice design that coordinates with the heavy duty silverware. Great set of plates, especially when you don’t have a dishwasher! My son-in-law makes us laugh when he says he wants to wash them because they are so nice. He pouts as we make him toss his plate in the trash!!!

Perfect for Thanksgiving meal! Heavy duty enough for grown men to load up their plates; pretty enough for the women to feel special; durable enough for kids to handle. LOVE these! Will definity order again for any occasion where we just don't want to/can't wash dishes.
