Attention !!! Sam's Club authority!!!! Please verify the Royal Basmati rice before you purchase from overseas. Because I have been consuming this rice almost 14 years but recently found out the seller from overseas are giving you different rice in this pack . As a long time consumer I know the smell and the quality about the royal basmati. Please ! Verify this rice. The smell and quality is gone and during cooking rice got broken and it sweats. Feels very weird.

I bought this and ate this not knowing it had bugs, larva, and eventually moths in it! 🤮 i kept seeing moths and didn't know where it came from until I purchased a second bag and the same thing started happening...so I emptied my cabinet and put the rice in it alone...and 6 moths flew out. I'm disgusted and i had to throw out my entire cabinet contents of dry goods and the moths had then had larva in all the boxes! Do not buy!!!

The quality of this basmati rice is disappointing. Both the grain size and overall quality fall short of expectations, especially considering the price. The most concerning issue is that the rice breaks apart after cooking—each grain loses its integrity, which is unusual for authentic basmati. It doesn’t resemble proper basmati rice in texture or appearance.

Always add one cup of water extra, for example, two cups of rice, three cups of water. We like it well cooked but not too soft. It cooks very nicely. We rinse it two to three times to get rid of extra starch, Highly recommend. Add more water if you prefer it more soft.

I’ve been having this for more than 2 years, it’s a nice option when compared to other Basmati Rice. Washing Instructions: Always rinse it 3-4 times so that all the starch is removed and you get a clean water. And if you want longer grain soak it for 30 mins before cooking. Never use cold or hot water to rinse, always use mid point to avoid it being semi cooked while washing and soaking. Cooking Instructions: 1. If you use rice cooker then one cup rice 12oz water. Cook as per cooker’s instructions and let us rest for at-least 30-40 mins before eating. 2. Else boil the water, put the rice for 13 mins in n high heat and then drain the excess water. Let it rest for 10-15 mins and you’re good to go. Goes well with any curry, sometimes I just have it with; 2inch butter, salt, pepper and a sunny side up.

Worth the price of quality rice. Very tasty
