Royal rice is so easy to make and it goes with everything. The rice was perfect; it was light and fluffy and it didn't stick together. The flavor is so much better than other rice. It's not just good for Indian food, it goes with anything you might make. I would definitely recommend this rice to anyone and I will buy it again

I used it in both plain rice meats as well as traditional Carribean meals and every single time it cooked perfectly and never mushy. Dinner was delicious every single time. A nice side for a meal, however, I prefer the convenience of the microwave pouches. I would recommend this and I would purchase again perhaps for a weekend meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all kinds of rice, and I like different brands for various types of rice. Royal is absolutely my favorite basmati! It cooks up beautifully, whether on the stovetop or the way I prefer it, in a rice cooker. I just rinse it a few times under running water, then add a measured amount to the metal bowl, add water and a pinch of salt, and then press play. Around forty minutes later I have perfectly cooked and oh-so-fragrant basmati rice! It's wonderful for all kinds of cuisine, but I especially love it with butter chicken and other Indian dishes. It's so good that I've been known to enjoy it plain sometimes, too! I served it with a chicken pesto dish recently, and everybody loved the texture. I had no idea that basmati rice was aged, but this one is, at least, for a minimum of twelve months. That's what helps give it its non-sticky texture. Wow...who knew?? Another thing I love about this rice is that it is SRP-verified, which means it is sustainably cultivated. Royal supports small rice farmers and engages in eco-friendly practices that reduce carbon emissions and water usage, making their basmati rice much easier on the planet. I love a company that truly cares about the Earth! This is a fantastic brand, all around, and one that will always have a place in my kitchen. I encourage you to try it, if you haven't already.
