[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to make rice. Rice is tasty. Rice comes out fluffy and not sticky. Great side dish. Saves me time cooking. Reasonable priced. I definitely recommend this product for you to try. You will not be disappointed.

We eat rice or a rice dish at least twice a week so the 20 pound bag worked well for us. Royal was our favorite brand. Recently upon opening a new bag, the rice grains were obviously not the normal Royal Basmati we normally received. The grains were various sizes, color and varieties. It also had an unpleasant smell, not exactly rancid, but not that basmati rice fragrance that easily identifies it. The grains were broken and powdery. We thought perhaps it was just a bad batch and tossed it out. Purchased another bag and when pouring it into our rice storage container, we immediately noticed that it had the same off smell and appearance of grains that were not basmati rice. I even cooked a small batch to see how it tasted and it was terrible. Not sure what has happened to the Royal brand, but this is what we would call the floor sweepings of rice, not fit for consumption. Purchased another well-known brand in the green bag (Daawat) and it was beautifully fragrant with perfect long grains of pearly white rice...More expensive, but well worth it. Hoping Sam's starts to carry this other brand soon, but no more Royal brand for us.

I have been been buying this rice for many many years from Sam's Club. It takes me a while, even with having company for dinner, to get through 25 pounds of rice. Before, it great from the first cup to the last cup 25 pounds, over a year or two later. However the last 25 pound bag I got ended up with weevils in it. It was less than half used.. I thought. . well guess I had it too long, (though the bag said best when used by August 15, 2017) I bought a brand new 20 pound bag.. I've had rice out of it I think twice. Last night I got ready to get some rice and saw it was full of weevils, even tough the bag says Best when used by November 15, 2019. The plastic bag was twisted and secured with a twist tie and the burlap bad was zipped all the say up. If I can find my receipt I am taking it returning it.

This basmati rice has the best flavor of any basmati rice I’ve ever tried and the soft, chewy texture is perfect. I love how quickly this rice cooks on the stove and how versatile it is.

My experience was great; the rice has a wonderful aroma and the grains stay long and separate, just like authentic basmati should. I shared it with my household and everyone really enjoyed the texture and flavor. It’s much better than other brands I’ve tried recently. I would definitely purchase this again and am interested in trying their other varieties too. I’ve already recommended it to a few friends!

Royal rice is so easy to make and it goes with everything. The rice was perfect; it was light and fluffy and it didn't stick together. The flavor is so much better than other rice. It's not just good for Indian food, it goes with anything you might make. I would definitely recommend this rice to anyone and I will buy it again

It smells amazing, it's fluffy, soft, and definitely hold a lot of flavor. It's easy to prepare, and is perfect as a stand alone dish, or along side of other food items. We made it with orange chicken. Yummy!
