We bought a 20lb bag and will have to throw it away. The fuel like smell is unbearable. It didn't matter how many times you rinsed it, the smell was still present. I would love to send this out for a chemical analysis... I would give it 0 stars if I could. Don't buy this. Batch No. B190029976

I've bought this rice many, many times. The rice in the latest bag smells like paint. I smelled a bag I bought 3 months ago and it is fine, but the latest one has a distinct chemical smell family members confirmed. Nothing else in the order has an odor. I tried contacting the distributor to Sam's Club, LT Foods Americas, at the phone number on the bag, 1-800-550-7423, but there is no answer.

When I see Sam’s offer to sell basmati rice, it is awesome because many small towns like NWA doesn’t sell basmati rice in this big bag. I wish Sams club will consider selling a Brown Basmati rice in this bag size too.... that will be perfect for NWA.

Even though it says long grain basmati rice, they are not long grain

I don't recommend buying at Walmart, much more expensive than at BJ's

Inedible. The rice tastes like plastic. It must be from the cheap plastic bag.
