We first purchased this at least 15 years ago at Sam's and were very impressed with the product. Perfect, White Fluffy Rice, never sticky or clumpy. 20 Pounds is a lot of rice, but we kept it in zip lock bags in the freezer for years without a problem.

I've actually not used any of this rice, because, I have a lot of other rice still. I purchased it because I was assured it is the best sort of rice for people who want to lose weight and have a lot of mucus to deal with. I have eaten basmati rice before and so I believe that it is helpful to me, due to experience. No idea if this particular brand is better or worse than any other, but, I did get it a couple of bucks cheaper than Sam's Club sold it for, and, that means WAY cheaper than at the cheap Indian food market I can sometimes get to. Plus, I like the bag it came in.

Opening this bag a rice was wonderful. The fragrance re-inforced the label on the bag stating it was from a new harvest. Rice has a long shelf life if kept in a dry and pest free environment. The rice came in a plastic bag inside a very cute burlap sack which had a zipper and handles. I will definitely re-purpose the bag!

I bought basmati rice because my store was out of jasmine rice . The same day I bought it I made a real Mexican rice recipe , I didn’t mentioned anything but my husband said what did you put in this rice it’s so delicious. I didn’t put any other ingredient the only different thing was the rice . I am so happy my store was out of jasmine rice plus the bag where it comes is so cute. People: y’all should try different foods !

I was worried about the packing when I order 2 bags of 20lbs rice. but they packed separately which is great. The first time when I order from amazon both 20labs packed in one back and the box was all ripped and torn out, not that I care about the box but just don't want to have damaged products. this is been great we love rice and the service.

I bought this rice because I was looking for a non sticky rice, when it arrived and I cooked it, it was mushy. On the description it said non sticky rice and I was so happy but the happiness turned into gloom. Now I don't know if I can return this rice because I've opened it.

I bought this rice for the first time via online. 8 got very sick having diarrhea, stomach cramps and headaches. i didn't know this as the source my illness. that had stopped when I was using a different brand of rice. I buy different brands of rice then 2 weeks later I cooked basmati again this time I only ate it with fresh baked salmon. the diarrhea, stomach cramps and headaches came back that I recalled was exactly the same as the last time I had basmati rice. so now I am returning this bag so Sam's can check if this rice I got is real basmati or not and what kind of chemicals in it seems very toxic. I am not sure what long term effects it would have in me I hope none. the rice once cooked would turn into very porous and light with a very strong odor. possibly a fake rice. I have eaten all kinds of rice some store brand names without any problems.

Very worth the price, etc. Cooks great, just steam for a nice texture and great for Jollof too.
