i have a tear in my shoulder area-i tried this and right after-i could taste the menthol taste in my mouth-i wondered if this has happened to anyone else-i googled it and got a lot of stuff that didn't answer the question? i 'did' help the pain though.

This product could not have come at a better time. I had just started a new job which requires heavy lifting, bending and stretching. I was in alot of pain after the first day. I had received my Bengay the day before so my husband suggested rubbing it on my sore back. The relief was instantaneous! Bengay Ultra Strength began to work immediately on contact. Three of us in the house have used it and it works fabulous! My 16 year old son had sore muscles in his arms and back from golf practice and this has made him able to get thru practice with little pain. This muscle relaxer definitely does the trick in immediately minimizing the pain in the joints or muscle after a long hard day.It does not burn much as other creams and it works effectively in minimizing the pain in a few minutes. I received the bengay from home tester club and used it on all the areas that affect me. I was very surprised at how well it really worked. I have never tried any ointments or creams before so I was sort of skeptical. I`m glad it worked and I`ll purchase.

As I have gotten older there seems to be more pain associated with activity. I run regularly and also bowl once a week. My job required me to do some lifting on a daily basis so all these things start to take a toll. I used the Bengay on my neck, shoulders, and wrist and noticed the penetrating effects immediately. I`m not too bothered by the smell. I used it overnight so I wasn`t worried about going anywhere or having anyone notice. I can`t use the bengay. When I put it on, my cat smells it and goes insane. She likes it more than catnip. I can`t imagine her licking the product is good for her. So for her health, I will not use the product. Otherwise it works great. Love the hot/cold feel.

I received a free sample of BENGAY Ultra Strength non-greasy cream through a product testing website. It`s supposed to be the #1 pharmacist-recommended brand. I enjoyed having the product handy with as sore as I`ve been this week due to the start of the softball season. Those games make me move in ways I haven`t had to in months, and BENGAY helped me out by relieving some of the muscle pain that is associated with this first week.
