I would've given this product 5 stars if I'd reviewed it when I first began using it. However, I agree with 1tampon1pad's review below. When I first bought these, I could go the full 12 hours, no leakage (removed as recommended). Now, I need to change every 6-8 hours. My flow is pretty much the same as when I first started using the Ultra. Thus, I'd concluded the same; they must have decreased the absorbency. This is still a better choice if you have a very heavy flow. However, I've always been partial to tampax and have never really tried anything else. Maybe it's time I give the "others" a try.

Plenty of Super for the heavy start, lites to finish the week off and regulars for in between. The comfort is by far the best. And the dependability of the leak protection is top notch. Tapax pearl is the only tampon I will buy.

I like that it does come in a variety pack for the days that I need the most protection, down to the days I need the least protection. Whatever the flow brings. The packaging is cute and discreet. As for using they are easy to use. The applicators make it easy to glide in. I highly recommend to everyone in need of menstural cycle protection. They are very durable for even your toughest cycle. Five stars for five star protection.
