Definitely cannot use them for your entire cycle, they are just a little irritating when there's a lighter flow. But they work amazing for day 1 and day 2 and especially at night!

I find that these options are necessary throughout the flow of my period. Now use the ultra on my heaviest days and go down from there. It does have a plastic applicator with a good grip for easier insertion. It is unscented and free of dyes. Make sure to use the tampons as directed so you don't get toxic shock syndrome. The little rappers that they come in do have cute designs on them as well, making your day just a little bit better. For me personally, I can use this and have enough left over for the next time.
