The applicator is smooth and comfortable. I love the variety in this pack. Also love that the packaging is discrete and not noisy when opening (doesn't really bother me but it's nice for younger girls who may still get embarrassed)

I had been looking for a tampon that's comfortable, easy to "use" and provides maximum protection and Tampax Pearl Ultra is it! Rather than purchasing several boxes, this one has three different sizes for the different flow days I experience.
